Making onigiri is hard. So, I eat it from the convenience stores. My favorite onigiri of convenience stores is ebimayo. They are shrimp and mayonnaise. This collaboration is very good. And onigiri of convenience stores is rolled by ajinori. It is crispy and yummy.
But I like handmade onigiri better than onigiri of convenience stores. Onigiri is different with every person who makes it. No matter who makes it, everything is tasty. My mother makes onigirazu for me. Onigirazu is onigiri not to grasp. Only fold. And she puts tamagoyaki in it. Tamagoyaki is rolled omelet. It is traditional Japanese food. Her tamagoyaki is very delicious. Sometimes, I eat my grand mother’s onigiri. I can eat onigiri that I don’t select usually. She put salted kelp or salted plum. There are delicious too.

Onigiri’s good point is that we take it anywhere easily, because it is covered with plastic wrap. And it doesn’t need chopsticks. So, we can eat it outside. In addition, it can arrange by changing it’s inside. We can put in our favorite food. So, onigiri makes us possible to enjoy a lot of variations. And onigiri is more filling than bread.
