I’m not a fan of speaking ahead of a game, but the boys have been playing exciting and structured hockey. People can expect a fun and exciting match.

Where is your strength as a team?

The team’s strength is unity, we are playing for one another and for the badge on our chest.

Wat is die hoogtepunt van julle span se seisoen sover?

Ons het al vele hoogtepunte die jaar bereik, maar een wat definitief uitstaan is ons 3-2 wen teen Paarl Gimnasium.

Hoe motiveer jy jou span?

Ek motiveer my span deur altyd ‘n 100% op die veld, of selfs net by oefening, te gee. Ek herriner hulle ook altyd dat hulle vir ‘n rede eerstespan speel en dat hulle nooit in hulle vermoëns moet twyfel nie.

Wie is julle onderkaptein en hoe staan hy jou by?

Herman Visser, hy staan my by deur altyd die spanmaats se moraal hoog te hou, wen of verloor, asook om ons altyd in die regte ingesteldheid voor ‘n wedstryd te kry.

Wat wil julle as `n span die jaar bereik? Wat sal jou trots maak?

Ons wil Premierliga speel en onder die top hokkieskole in die land meeding. Alles bou natuurlik op na ‘n wen op die dag van Interskole. Ek is trots op wat ons reeds vanjaar bereik het. Ons doelwit is om vir die skool ‘n nalatenskap te laat, waarop die toekoms van Durbanville-hokkie kan bou

Ek gaan by Pukke studeer en ek hoop om hulle ook op die hokkieveld te verteenwoordig.
