HE multifaith event featured lots of music, dancing, prayer, support for those who need it, and a home for people who need to find their way back to God. The Great Life Church got started on March 1, but they were proud to attend the event. The church held a giveaway and had lots of activities ready for the kids to enjoy. “We’ve been working and

I conduct good meetings and show good leadership. It’s something that I want to do.” As the Oxnard Planning Commission Chairwoman, she is proud of her hard work, which has produced “beautiful projects,” and said she prevented “some bad projects.” She welcomes all questions and concerns about the city. n Mayoral candidates, see page 4
Oxnard-- The debate is on, as Oxnard Mayor Tim Flynn and Mayor Pro Tem Carmen Ramirez squared off and presented their views on issues and why each would be the better Ventura County Supervisor during the Sept 25 forum. The event, brought forward by the Inter Neighborhood Council (INCO), focused on issues that its members believe are vital to the county. Having a forum during the pandemic is essential, as Covid-19 has limited in-person contact for n Flynn and Ramirez, see page 6
