Reports from four eMITs

THANK YOU TRINITARIANS!

FOR SERVING THE NATIONS!

Despite the pandemic situation in other countries, thank God for technology that allowed Trinitarians to continue our mandate to reach the lost beyond physical borders.

Let us continue to pray for the lives that have been touched and decisions made for Christ. May every seed sown be watered and nurtured to fruition.

Miracles, healings, and transformations. All the women shared their dreams. Some desire to become teachers, while some others hope to become nurses and counselors. One of them wants to serve at a Project Rescue home, another one aims to be a founder of an orphanage.

45 LIVES TOUCHED/REACHED 25 DECISIONS FOR CHRIST

This year, I participated in my first eMIT! When I first signed up, I asked myself what I had gotten into. But when it started, our team rested in the Holy Spirit’s leading, and everything seemed to flow.

On the screens, we even saw those we ministered to wiping their eyes. The Lord touched their hearts, and we witnessed a change.

LIVE LIFE ABUNDANTLY

BY TAMMY CHUA

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

- John 10:10 NASB

At this year’s onsite Life Conference, 1,630 Trinitarians and friends from other churches were refreshed as they gathered to receive God’s Word, commune in vibrant fellowship and understand how they could live an abundant life as God intended.

The air was abuzz with excitement and chatter. As attendees queued to register, the atmosphere was tangibly filled with anticipation and excitement. Life Conference was held for two days from June 2 to 3. There were Day Sessions and Night Rallies, along with a concurrent youth and children’s track, namely IGNYTE and DiscoveryLand. No matter the age group, sons and daughters were here to lay hold of God’s abundant life together.

Gloria Soo from LMC CG shared, “Living in a hectic and rushed world, I decided to take time to attend Life Conference to slow down, allowing God to speak to me, and to be refreshed.” UNLOCKING THE ABUNDANT LIFE

During the Day Sessions, eight power-packed sermons were delivered by four anointed preachers. Powerful and relevant truths were imparted. All church conference attendees were blessed as we learned more about the keys to living out an abundant life. God’s restoration is one aspect of the abundant life that one could experience.

In the opening session, Lead Pastor Dominic Yeo shared the purpose of Life Conference – teaching us how to live life abundantly through faith in Christ Jesus. Hearts were refocused to seek God and prepared to receive God’s Word in the following sessions.

Rev Ong Sek Leang, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Malaysia and Senior Pastor of Metro Tabernacle, preached on Coming Back from Setbacks. He urged us to live in accordance with God's powerful mandate: to boldly share the Good News!

Bishop Philip Kitoto, General Superintendent of Kenya Assemblies of God and Senior Pastor of International Christian Centre, equipped us with practical tips to be unified as a church and being good stewards of our time and talents, in order to build God’s Kingdom effectively. We can begin to build powerfully when we truly experience God’s amazing and overflowing love.

Pastor Gerald Tan, Lead Pastor Designate of Trinity Christian Centre, shared how we could respond with godly character in the face of various challenges which presented themselves in God’s assignments to us.

We could not change our past, but we could surely change the narrative we believed about our past. In the closing session, Pastor Gerald encouraged us that seeing the mistakes and failures of our past through God’s eyes would bring restoration. Having such good faith will unleash the abundant life that God has for us. RESTORED, RENEWED AND RECOMMITTED

Eager to hear God’s Word and to dwell in an atmosphere of worship, conference attendees gathered at the Night Rallies with positive anticipation. Rev Ong called us to revive our passion for serving the Lord, while Bishop Kitoto shared key truths on intentional living for Jesus.

A multitude of people responded at the respective altar calls in reflection and recommitment to God and His purposes for our lives.

Ivan Cheong, from Trinity’s Technical Department, reflected, “I felt such joy to see the altar filled with people again. It has been so long – two years – since I have seen so many people responding to the messages together. It touched not just me but our whole department.”

GROWING IN THE ABUNDANT LIFE TOGETHER

The Meeting Place was abuzz with conversation as people “ate together with glad and sincere hearts” (Acts 2:46)

God desires for us to grow together as a community. Through fellowshipping (Acts 2:42-27), breaking bread together and eating with glad and sincere hearts, praising God, and enjoying the favor of all the people, may our Lord add to our numbers daily – those who are being saved.

Indeed, many CGs faithfully signed up for Life Conference together. After attending the conference, they received blessings and breakthroughs.

“Many shared how God is restoring their faith in Him and their identity in God. They were also reminded of their callings, and how God is restoring a heart for evangelism. All these are refreshing – a call to live a purposeful life for Him,” testified Daphne Tan, CG Rooted in God, Area 2,

For many CGs, Life Conference was a time of hearty fellowship. Many Trinitarians were reenergized by the engaging conversations over mealtimes between sessions. Their faith was strengthened.

“One CG member and I shared about visions we had received from God at the start of the event, and how God had revealed what they meant throughout the sermons preached,” recounted Bridget Lee, Living Rivers CG, Campus Ministry.

Couples were blessed as they attended Life Conference together as well. “During Life Conference, God reminded me that we are not meant to be alone. We have a community to encourage us in our journeys, to work together and serve Him,” shared Deborah and Ryan, Di’Vine CG, Area 3.

RECEIVING THE ABUNDANT LIFE

Many conference attendees received fresh visions, had their faith in God restored, renewed their boldness to spread the gospel. He is gently calling us to turn our eyes to behold Him, to seek His Kingdom first and to live for Him relentlessly.

Like how Pastor Dominic hoped for our main takeaway to be, he said “Let us enjoy the life God has given us”. As sons and daughters of God, we get to enjoy life abundantly – not only filled with every spiritual blessing, but His favor and anointing, and unwavering faith that can move mountains.
