People Back Then...
When I asked people about what they liked from the old days, most of them said "their people,'' and I agreed with them. Whey they say "Old is gold," they say it for a good reason. People of the past were simple and lived simply, unlike the complexity of the now. They used to like visiting each other especially in special occasions like Ramadan and Eid. Not only did they love to visit, but they always welcomed guests. Regardless of time and place, their doors were aways open. They hearts were also pure; I recall the older generation as being sincere and genuine. However, time does not change people. People change with time. Considering how much our world has developed and changed, people have become complex too. The distance between them has grown larger. The cities became bigger and the small communities and neighborhoods that once prospered can rarely ever be found. It's nice to live in such an advanced world, but we must make sure not to lose the virtues of the old people while we can.

BEAUTY FOR YOU
How to Reduce Pigmentation and Get an Even Skin Tone?
Sometimes you may notice that your skin is not one color. There are dark spots called pigmentation. An uneven skin color may also exist, meaning areas that are darker than the rest. And as a beauty concern of so many people, we all want an even-colored flawless skin, but what are the ways to get it?
Peeling Peeling provides a creamy or gel-like effect and can be done at home or at clinics. For clinics, it is known as microdermabrasion or a clinical peel. Although a clinical peel can have a speedy effect in gaining beautiful skin, consistently using over-the-counter chemical peeling creams also works. "It is recommended to peel your skin once a week," said a pharmacist. There are a number of products you can purchase such as Retin A, recommended by dermatologist Dr. Talal Al Mehasin . You can also use natural peels like lemon juice for example.
Vs. Scrubbing Scrubbing is more rough when it comes to texture. However, it is equally beneficial. There are a variety of options of over-the-counter facial scrubs or even home-made scrubs like sugar and lemon juice or oil olive. It is recommended to gently scrub your face two to three times a week.

FITNESS FOR YOU
ISSUE 22 # PEOPLE THEN AND NOW
How Do YOU Gain Muscle and Not Fat? An InBody testing specialist at Gold's Gym in Jeddah has some little tips as to how to get more muscle percentage and less fat percentage. To be regarded as a fit person, the recommended inBody testing results of your body fat percentage (PBF) should be between 18 -28% for females and 10-20% for males. In contrast, your muscle mass should never be less than 60% of your body. In general, males have more muscles than fat according to their natural body composition, as opposed to women. However, these percentages can be adjusted through diet and exercise.
( - ) Reduce Fat Your ideal fitness goal is to get your PBF much less than the muscles. In order to do that, fitness alone is not enough. You need to control the fats in your diet. However, not all fats should be avoided, only the unhealthy ones like saturated fats for instance. Some fats are healthy and beneficial for the body.
( +) Increase Muscle Now to be even more fit, you should not have a weak body. You need to gain muscles. The best way would be to exercise regularly but your choice of exercising should be smart, too. Incorporate resistance training in your fitness routine and alternate between trainings. Meaning, use strength training for all your body parts such as arms, legs, abs...etc. You should also incorporate cardio training for upper and lower body to get the best results.

Naughty Children: Who is Responsible? Â
s
ome children can be naughtier than other ones. Behavioral physiologists say that it may be because of their personality style. Some children tend to be more prone to becoming naughty than others while others tend to be quieter. Brothers of one mother are also not always of the same personality. According an article by to the ACS distance education, children get naughty for many reasons. Some of them do so as they desire attention, bored or just tired. No matter what their reason may be, naughtiness can put them in harm's way. This causes some questions to arise. Can this child's state be controlled? Who is responsible for their naughtiness? Are mothers responsible for disciplining their children ? When a child is in danger, is it because the mother wasn't strict enough or do accidents just happen? YOU! Newsletter surveyed 15 people and asked their opinions. Their responses were varied from putting the responsibility on the mother's
shoulders while others says that a child getting himself in danger is purely accidental. A third category responded that a repeated naughty behavior is the mother's fault while a single problematic behavior could happen by accident. An interesting response from the surveyed people mentioned that a child can be hyper active, but it is again the mother who controls his hyper activity.
