Club Captain’s Report
A big month ahead for the Vintage Car Club Canterbury Branch! Preparations are ongoing for our branch who is hosting the National AGM on the 13th, 14th and 15th of August. Numbers are coming through at a steady pace. We are still looking for people to take our guests with them on Friday’s rally. Friday Rally kajens70@gmail.com The BBQ on Sunday, after coffee and cars, currently has 70 people attending. If anyone is available to help in the kitchen with setting up and serving food, this would be greatly appreciated. BBQ help Katryna.shaw@pacificradiology.com
It would be wonderful for our members to show your support at the 75th Anniversary Dinner on the Saturday evening at the Rydges Latimer Hotel. The theme is simply Black and White. Entries for the National AGM Vintage Car Club Inc close 31 st July 2021. The VCCNZ National Daffodil Rally is on Sunday the 22nd September 2021. This is a worthy cause and from experience a fun day out!
Linda White is organising the women and young drivers rally this year and from what I understand she has in store for us will cater for both parties. The date for this is Saturday 4 th September 2021. Bring your rally gloves girls and boys. Keep warm and dry. Katryna Shaw
