Miss in-person theater? Tickets are now on sale for Montclair High School’s production of As You Like It, a contemporary musical adaptation of the Shakespeare classic by Shaina Taub and Laurie Woolery. The musical will be performed live in front of a masked, socially distanced audience in MHS’s amphitheater over two weekends. This vibrant take on As You Like It was originally staged in 2017 by the Public Theater as part of Shakespeare in the Park. New York Times critic Alexis Solosky described it as a “utopian vision of a society that favors acceptance over division.” MHS is one of the first high schools to perform the musical in the tristate area.
