# 1 : T H E D E S C H U T E S C O U N T Y FA I R & R O D E O This is an absolute must for everyone who's in the area. The Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo is the largest event east of the Cascades and the largest Fair and Rodeo in Oregon! Enjoy the outstanding FREE concert series every night through the Fair, with top up and coming talent, as well as seasoned favorites. The Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo is fun for the entire family, with classic carnival rides, like roller coasters, Tilt-A-Whirl, the Scrambler and of course a 55' Ferris wheel. Visit the 4H and FFA livestock arenas, with prize winning animals of all shapes and sizes, from fluffy little bunnies and ducks, to champion hogs and steers. Talk with handlers (and the animals) and learn all about these amazing critters, the experience is sure to last a lifetime. Also, do not forget about the Rodeo, this is some of the best roping and riding you will see all year. Of course, no Fair visit is complete without indulging in some classic Fair food, so enjoy the funnel cakes, elephant ears and a corndog as you stroll through all the amazing vendors. With over 10 breweries onsite, a VIP section featuring various bacon inspired foods, and the Balloons over Bend Night Glow, this family friendly event will have you going Hog Wild! Bring the whole family down to Sam Johnson Park for a summer celebration, filled with vendors, food, and the magic of hot air balloons as they illuminate the Dry Canyon! Don't miss this annual event!

Fun for the whole family, Trick or Treat on 6th Street features music, local businesses handing out literally tons of candy, a pirate display at Trend Kill Tattoos, and of course, free photos with The Great Pumpkin! Bring the whole family out for a spooky day in Redmond! #5: MUSIC ON THE GREEN CONCERT SERIES Grab a blanket or your lawn chairs and attend the FREE Eberhard's Dairy First Interstate Bank's Annual Music on the Green all summer long. All brought to you by the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB. Enjoy this free summer concert series from some of the region’s best and brightest musical talents from genres like country, folk, bluegrass, and cover tunes from the ‘50s through today. This event is family-focused, offering inflatable bounce houses and Hope Playground for the kids, a vast selection of arts and craft vendors, and tasty food and drinks for the whole family. Set in the beautiful Sam Johnson Park starting on the last Wednesday of June, running every other Wednesday through the first Wednesday of September.
