Wendover Parish Council Matters Arising View from the Chair
Parish Council Meeting Tuesday 5 April, 7.30pm St Anne’s Hall For all meeting and committee dates please visit our webpage www.wendover-pc.gov.uk/meetings
As I write today, the sun is shining albeit cold and breezy! However, desperate news arrives hourly from Ukraine and our thoughts are with those fleeing conflict and especially those staying to fight on. It puts our concerns very much in perspective. Some of our projects have been delayed following the storms and high winds but we are expecting the remaining trees to be planted shortly. The cycle path will be completed as far as Wharf Rd by the end of March. Some bicycle symbols have been painted along Lionel Avenue which are frequent and large. Following a conversation with the project manager, it is hoped that remaining symbols will be smaller and more spread out. As with all these projects there are rules as to what must be put in, helpful or not.
