In terms of human development, it is crucial to be aware that individuals are part of Mother Earth, of the galaxy, of the cosmos, of a Greater Whole interconnected with all existing living things. It is important to be in contact with nature during the whole learning process. Through direct experiences with different kingdoms of life (animal, vegetable and mineral), children learn to take active responsibility for the environment.
