The festival brings the community together for a fun filled day of live music, dancing horses, kiddie rides, onion eating contest, pet costume contest, the Knapp Family Health fair, 1015 market and so much more. The festival is just one of many attractions Weslaco has to offer and reminds the community of Weslaco’s agricultural achievement. On Saturday, live entertainment is scheduled all day with music from Virginia y Valor, Wreckless Texas, and Midnight Run to name a few. The evening will close with Two-time Latin Grammy winner Elida Reyna y Avante. There will be country music, oldies, Tejano and more for all to enjoy. Curt James will be taking the stage at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Entertainment lineup after him will be Jaime G and the Adel’s (11:30), Carlos Canas (12:30), Legendzz (2:30), HotRodz (3:30), Virginia y Valor (4:30), Wreckless Texas (5:30), Midnight Run (6:30), BucknCrazy Band (7:30), and at 8:30 p.m. will be Elida Reyna y Avante. A mascot dance off will be at 10:30 a.m., pet costume contest at 12 p.m., onion eating contest at 1 p.m. The dancing horse show will be held at 3:30 p.m. The Knapp Health Family Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ka-
