Junior Colts: The boys did amazing last week. Top of the ladder Pt Mac were dominant but that didn’t stop our young burr boys from not dropping their heads. Levi lead the way with amazing work around the ground and bagged a couple of goals. Jimmy had a great game and ba led hard in the guts all day. Reed had a tough opponent in the ruck but that didn’t stop him from being dominant in the air and on the deck. Super proud of all the boys for ge ng stuck in and playing Mt Burr footy when they were up against it.

B Grade: It was always going to be a challenging trip down to Port Mac on Saturday playing in difficult condi ons. It was a tough game from start to finish and credit needs to go to Port Mac for their victory. Their bigger bodies proved too strong for our young side. Best performers for our side were Harvey Muhovics who is easily our most improved player this year, Jacob Gregory who competed all day, DJ who leads from the front week a er week, Jack Francis who
A Grade: Last weekend saw us travel down to Pt Mac. Pt Mac are a good side with some key players but overall I was happy with how our boys played. We spoke about a few key points before the game and happily we cked them off, regardless of the final score. Mt Burr football is all about effort and the boys certainly brought that. Best players were - 1. Spanksy who played an absolutely inspiring game. The way he competes against the bigger ruckman (and wins) is something special. 2. Dyl Ridz who again got plenty of the ball and worked forward and back all day. Never takes a backward step. 3. Jacko Muhovics who again worked hard all game and never gives in. 4. Ed Ballantyne who was called up to the A Grade for his body and toughness and did what was asked of him, barging through all day and compe ng well. 5. Jackson “Rossy” Dean who backed up a solid performance in the Snr Colts with another great effort down back. 6. Sam Hunt who got a tough looking haircut specially done for the day and played some hard, tough football for such a young guy Onto Hatherleigh back at the Burr

A Grade: A great win last week up against Robe in once again tough condi ons. A heavy deck, deteriora ng rapidly greeted us so a change of game plan was necessary. Repeat stoppages and gaining territory was going to be the way the game was to be won. A er an even first quarter, we were able to take control of the game, keeping Robe scoreless in the 2nd quarter whilst kicking 4 goals ourselves. The message at half me was all about s cking to the gameplan and keeping it simple, moving the ball forward. Once again, a er an even 3rd term, we stretched our lead in the last and again kept Robe scoreless to run out winners by 41 points. It was again a great team effort with everyone playing smart wet weather footy for four quarters. Best players were Will Chay, Jed Telfer and Sam Gray for massive efforts on ball. Brad Mitchell for his best game of the year and Darcy Bateman for his role up forward and in the ruck.
B Grade: We came up against robe in round 13 knowing we only won by 8 points down there last me, from the get go in wet weather, we knew if we brang the intensity and played good team football doing the li le things right, scoreboard would take care of itself. We hit the board early kicking the first 6 and stamped our authority on the game. Running out 78 point winners. Special thanks to Tilla Saunders who stepped in
for a one off game coming home for the reunion. Ethan Bowman was awarded bog, Jason Faulkner second, Joe Rayson, Toddy Watson and Rural Bell to finish the best
Senior Colts: In wet and slippery condi ons the boys ba led against an inform Robe ou it. With s ll a few key players out, we tried hard but were not able to match the slick movement from the opposi on. Best player for the day was Blake Snook at full back. Jordy Atkinson had a tagging role the second half and applied pressure at every possible chance. Aus n ne le found plenty of the ball once again. Cooper Walters tried hard all day and used his voice be er then anyone else and Hudson Nowak was solid at CHB. We now have some important games coming up we need to win to stay in touch with the 4.
Junior Colts: A win we needed to get to put us into the top four. The whole team played their role in the win. Eli Sims was solid up forward kicking 4 goals, presented well and really se led the game up. Second best Coaden Taylor played deep in the second half, took some strong overhead marks and ended up kicking 4 goals. Tom Bowering had a steady game through the middle and centre half back, tackled well, and set up some good play Tom Atkinson was fourth best who also snagged a couple of goals!

A very big thank you to Shane and Macca for umpiring the scratch match last week between Kalangadoo and Nangwarry, it was very much appreciated. Also a big thank you to all those who played the game in great spirits which allowed all the boys and girls to have a run. It is important to remember that all junior football some mes is not about the points but giving all those children a run and allowing them to have a go. Tonight following the game we will be holding Nangchella. If you have not got a cket catch up with Tamara and she will help. The night looks to be fun!
Under 11: With a few away and depleted numbers thanks to Kalangadoo for lending us a few players to make a game of it. Each week we go well and this was no excep on. In a close game they can all really hold their heads high about how they play the game. Well done kids and keep ge ng out there!
Junior Colts: Great outcome this weekend for under 14s, great to get back on the winners list. Shout out to Kdoo lending us 2 players each quarter to give us even numbers. It was a real arm wrestle for most of the game breaking even for the first half, being down a goal at 3qtr me and then running out to a 2 goal lead in the 4th to seal the win. Our main focus today was to try and generate some scoring opportuni es and some run off hal ack. It was good to see the boys take it on board and execute well. Our mids and backs worked really together to not only defend but launch us into a ack as well and give the forwards some opportunity What's really pleasing to see is when we play well we play well as an en re group, meaning no passengers today Everyone was involved one way or another and had some sort of impact on the final result. Encouragement award went to young Leon, stepping into a fullback role this week and didn't miss a beat.
Senior Colts: Nothing brings a club more joy than a happy bunch of boys who rock up each week to play a game of footy with their mates. We look forward to hearing your tunes pumping and the banter before the game. As a club we were proud of all 13 senior colt players who turned up ready to play against the odds, you were all happy to just be having a run.
Well done to the 8 boys who played a half for Kdoo and gave it their all having some fun at the same me. The banter between brothers making a few laugh on the sidelines. A big thanks also to all the junior colt boys who joined in and had a run too.
B Grade: What a day to play football. Kalangadoo got the jump on us in the first quarter leading 4 goals to one but a er that we had more of the ball but just couldn't convert.
Congratula ons to Bennet and Calais on playing both the boys played a fantas c when they went on. The injury to Trent we had to make a few changes and one was Blake to centre half back and he did a fantas c job. The boys in the middle ba led they guts out. With the loss that puts us out of the four so we must beat the Bay this weekend and get back in the four. Best Sco y, BJ, Smithy, Hayden Jolly, Chunder, and a special men on to Calais for his effort on having a BOUNCE and kicking a goal. Goals Blake 1, Josh 1, Calais 1. Go the Saints!
A Grade: On a day that was well and truly suited for ducks we came up against a full strength and very experienced Kalangadoo side that has strung together 5 wins out of their last 5 ou ngs. However throughout the game we did control the ball with good passages of play but were unable to convert our opportuni es going forward. As the game got longer the weather condi ons con nued to worsen and made the state of play very tough going which suited the bigger bodied opposi on. From a coaching perspec ve it was an interes ng day with the opportunity to play players in posi ons unfamiliar to them and to give some of our young players some game me gaining valuable experience. We cannot ques on the integrity of this group and although the condi ons were not favourable our young group did not back away from the challenge and con nued to work hard un l the very end doing the Nangwarry Football Club and supporters proud. Best players for day were Logan Gibbs, Brody Parsons, Jack Pudney, Ty Dinnison, Ma Pra , and Josh Weedon.
This week we are back home in Nangwarry playing host to Port MacDonnell and we look forward to the challenge.

Mini Colts: Due to Mt Burr not having an U11 side, the kids were keen to s ll get out on the field and have a kick. So we invited any Mt Burr players to joins us in a internal game. The boys showed great sportsmanship by including the 5 Mt Burr players in the game and had fun playing against each other. Best players sponsored by Subway were Jace Smith, Kade Grosvenor, Taj Vandepeer, Max Wilson, Zachary Howard and Aus n Hopgood.
Junior Colts: Once again we come up against an undermanned Mt Burr. We had several kids put their hand up to go across and play for them so that we could get a good hit out. With 7 players going over each half we managed to get a really good game of footy in. The a tude of our players is amazing and something we can be proud of. Their endeavour to contest regardless of what side they play on is brilliant. The fact that we were able to play such a compe ve game meant we had all players involved and ge ng valuable touches which hopefully develops all our players in the team sooner During the game we saw plenty of free flowing play with good ball movement and skill level. It’s pleasing to see the work being done at training is paying off. Thanks to the Mt Burr coaching and support staff for their kind words a er the game thanking our team for their assistance and a tudes throughout the game. Encouragement Award winners this week were Naite Fox, Tyler Neale, Brody Pra and Gracie Carroll.
Senior Colts: A er le ng one slip last week, we welcomed Mt Burr to our home ground for what was going to be a tough ba le. With average condi ons looming, our boys got back to their game right from the outset. A big change in intent from last week, tackles s cking and ge ng the score on the board gave us a good start being 5.4 to 0.0 at quarter me. Lincoln Bowd managed one of the goals of the year in what was a miraculous effort. The guys con nued the hard work in the next quarter, scoring 2 goals into a s ff breeze se ng up the 3rd quarter where we were able to put the game away. Final score 66-16. Best players sponsored by the Whan Family were Kai Gilmore who showed what he is capable of, even a er a week of footy away in Adelaide, Luke Richards played like Luke Richards, Jack Kain had a job and completed it successfully, being solid in defence all day, Riley Morgan did usual Riley Morgan things, Pa y Robinson worked relessly across the backline and much to his disgust Jacob Spehr was reliable at full back, using his strengths on the last line. Also a special men on to Casey Wilson who along with Kai Gilmore spent the week in Adelaide playing for Glenelg country You have done the club proud boys. Onto Nangwarry this week!
B Grade: Port MacDonnell 7.10 def Mt Burr 2.4. Welcome to the Bay! … with a nip in the air, rain on the radar and the weather as predictable as a mid-year Xmas sale, it was Sponsors Day at the club. We welcomed many of our long-standing patrons and benefactors with Christmas like zeal (roast lunch and a lot of drinks!) and like the movie “Love Actually” you can almost see the red wri ng coun ng down the weeks to go un l the big event! FINALS! With a good por on of our main actors not in the film this week it could almost be a countdown to “4 Weddings and a Funeral!” Yep! There are only 5 weeks le to this season (where did THAT go?) and we are s ll dallying around the middle of the ladder with 4 big teams to beat and a bye thrown in for good measure. The boys rallied under interim coach Ron “Ol' St Nick” O'Dine in a game that was a 50% bet the lads could get a lump of coal in their stockings instead of a toy but they put their bodies on the line me and me again never allowing the Mozzies to get into a rhythm. On the naughty and nice list, Grady Hutchesson got the E-bicycle and helmet (BOG award) from under the tree while Nathan Brotherton, got a
remote-control car. Both boys dominated throughout the game not only with their ruck workload but their marking ability under pressure and their gutsy efforts in keeping the ball moving into our forward lines was a true “Joyeux Noel”. A Tricycle each for Senior colt Alex Lamb and Isaac Na rass (3rd and 4th best respec vely) whose sheer tenacity in the packs and unfailing endeavor on the ball in the back lines got us out of trouble more than once or twice! Morgan Feast also gets to collect a Model Kit of a Landcruiser (to go with the big DIY job he's s ll working on!) for his efforts around the back pockets pushing the ball up the line and stopping the Mt B boys as they tried to gain ground along the flanks. While a few of the team might feel “Home Alone” (overlooked) there are a good number of you who will find a toy in their stocking. The prodigal son returned in Chris “Screwy” Driver was a welcome addi on to the fes vi es, kicking the first goal of the game while Ma “Mortal” Stark found “The Holly and The Ivy” with a double. Santa's helpers, Grady Hutchesson, Ben “Elf” Newton, Nathan “B Good” Brotherton and Senior colt Jacob “Polar Express” Spehr all kicked a single each. Congratula ons to Connor Twomey on reaching his 50th game with the club and Benny Mac for surviving his cameo as the old neighbour in this piece… you s ll have the nsel! And it was encouraging to see Ethan Perryman-Cary, Nathan Tilley, Kur s Lasle , Mason Brown, Braden Tilley and Jordan Carrison all step up and earn a slice of Xmas pudding and a chance to find a sixpence. Well, with the pressies sorted, the lunch menu planned all we have to worry about is who will turn up (to train & to play)... and whether we get to put our star on the top of the tree! Just remember, Nangwarry is full of pines! Ho, ho, ho!
A Grade: Port MacDonnell 13.11 def Mt Burr 8.5. Welcome to the Bay as all roads led to Port MacDonnell with our annual Sponsor's Day. May I take this opportunity to thank all of our Major and Family Sponsors, without their generosity we would not have a club or the facility we have today. With the weather being reasonably kind for this me of the year the ground was s ll looking pre y good considering the foot traffic earlier in the day. With quite a few out due to injury, work or holiday we knew it would be a difficult fight right from the first bounce, and the Mt Burr boys were ready to shake up the top of the ladder. Literally! It was a close first half with only 11 points the difference at the half me break. Historically, our matches have always been vola le and last Saturday was no excep on. Disciplined play steadied our course as white line fever started to creep into the game. B.O G. Coach Josh Woodall led by example, cu ng his way through the packs in the centre and delivering the ball forward with speed and accuracy. Tim Sullivan earned a silver medal for his efforts in controlling the ruck wherever needed and taking those big grabs while Will Macdonald is recovering from injury. Kyall McClean, Zack Williams and Tom Sullivan mopped up the packs, constantly moving the ball along the flanks while Colby Munro had a field day in the forward lines kicking 3 goals. 2 apiece from Josh Woodall and Ethan Gladman kept the score rolling along with singles from Jake Schleter, Alex Ridding, Kev Thomson, Zac Williams (sneaking one in from the pocket!), Luke Pitson and Jack Cawthorne (on loan from B grade). Once again our senior colts, Luke Richards and Riley Morgan stepped up to the plate and took on their fair share of the workload being instrumental in stoppages later in the game. It's great to see their courage in the face of some mes a more “full-bodied” opposi on and me in the A Grade is reflected in be er play in their Seniors team. Next is Nangwarry, and while the ladder is in our favour we must never take it for granted when club pride is on the line. Train hard to play hard Demons!

Senior Colts: Last week seen us travel to Nangwarry to try and keep our undefeated season going. With a few guys unavailable last week, we were looking to start well and put pressure on Nangas. To the guys credit they played some really selfless football, and used each other all day to set up a really big win. Really proud of the way the guys went about last weekend, with a lot of magnets being moved around and a lot of posi onal changes, they always give their best. Under 11: Last week we played Nangwarry, another great day by the young fellas, with each game pu ng in 110% I couldn't be happier! Best players were RoryFasta Pasta, Billy BrownMcDonalds and Lawson - Wendy's.
Junior Colts: We went to Nangwarry last week and were greeted by lovely weather. Our boys and girls have been training well and we have a goal of improving from the first round against every side we play. It is very pleasing to have done that in our first few games and a er losing to Nangwarry in round one to come out and have a convincing win was reward for all our work on the track. Best player went to Darcy who played a ripper first game and we will be trying to get him back in the future. Second to Kobe Bromley who kicked 5 great goals and worked hard up the ground. Third best was Kaden Bell who is playing some great footy in both junior and senior colts. Summer and Jake Bevan were fourth and fi h doing what they do for us every week and sixth best went to Harley Chapple who is growing in confidence and star ng to show great skills and
Reserves: Last week we travelled to Nangwarry on a sunny warm day Leading up to half me, unfortunately the boys ran out of legs and Nangwarry cruised in for the win. Best player went to Ma Nelson for his running all day and a ack at the ball. Other bests were Marky Bell, Nick Cory, Adam Mulraney and Hamish Thompson
A Grade: Last week we ventured down to the home of the Saints with some great weather for footy. Both teams have had a few weeks off due to byes and were fresh. We knew it was going to be a tough one but we were confident we could do it. We both started well with plenty of opportuni es but the Saints were right on our tails preven ng us from breaking away at the start. In our last quarter we got on top though, playing be er team footy and capitalising on our great team play, allowing us to break free. Coming away with the win, the boys did great and we had some awesome passages of play. Well done Tigers and let's keep up the hard work! 4 wins from the last 5 it's been a while the Tiger army has achieved this. Best in no order Cam Saint, Jack Dawe, Darcy Pink, Troy Ha , Braydn Reilly

A er a few weeks away from Magpie Park it was good to be back as we welcome our neighbour in the Saints it what looked to be a promising day for the club as the run to the finals begins to gain momentum for our 2 senior sides and the ever-con nuing development of our Junior Footy shows more light each week.
It was a perfect morning for footy with the weather looking to hold off as the Mini’s got the day underway as the do each week. With plenty of numbers the sides were evened up by loaning a few a cross to the Saints in order to make a game of it. It’s hard to believe the age of some of these juniors as they look to play beyond their years and over the next couple of years will see these players running around in, stru ng their stuff in Junior Colts.

junior colts
Junior Colts: With almost a full side to choose from minus our captain in Joe Box and with Nangwarry being a li le short Macca loaned a couple of players across to make sure everyone got plenty of game me. Across the ground looked to be very even across every line and looked to come down to ge ng 1st use of the ball and looking to use the space to advantage. The 1st half was a real tough and even affair with neither of the sides able to get a run on with the defences of both sides con nually repelling the ball meaning only 1 goal each scored up un l half me. The second half started to open up with the young Maggies ge ng the be er of the play and really playing some good team footy to be up by a straight kick going into the final quarter. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get our hands on enough of the ball during the last and the young Saints managed to get a run on to end up with a 12 point win. Best players went to Lachy McCann, Mason Meulenmeesters, Je Lennon, Elodie Burr & Jack DowdellSajevec.
Senior Colts: With both sides a bit short on numbers there was no official game but with both clubs working together we s ll managed a scratch match allowing some addi onal Juniors to play up and importantly game me for the senior colts. The game itself was played in good spirits with quality ball movement from both sides, plenty of smiles and enjoyment had and for a couple of lads was a chance to kick their first majors in footy. You couldn’t control Tommys excitement when Dean & Ryder both slo ed a couple of majors during the game and Luba’s pockets are a li le lighter! Well down to all the lads in helping Dean & Ryder achieve this as we saw them walk a li le taller a er the game.
B Grade: A er a defeat last me we played Nangwarry the Pies B Grade boys knew that they would have to be at their best if we were to turn the tables and ensure we stayed in conten on for a top two finish. A er some wet condi ons greeted the players the Pies through the
efforts of Des West and Tom Jerome were able to ensure that the Saints had limited scoring shots, whilst at the other end Mitch Varcoe was able to provide a really strong forward op on. Mitch has been in great form, and this has been reflected on the scoreboard. Brad male played well in the ruck and was able to give the likes of Jacob Simmonds, Tyler Jones and Gus Widdison first use. Looking forward to another tough contest this week against Tantanoola who are always difficult to beat at their home.
A Grade: With only the one late change for Lynsey’s chargers its was business as usual with se ng about the con nual path towards the business end of the season and ge ng structures in place. A er the rains had set in during the Ressies so ening the oval up meaning was going to be a tough slower game than the what the morning had promised. As it turned out this didn’t slow a couple of our webbed feet midfielders early in the 1st with Tye, Lachy & Brad finding plenty of the ball especially from Haysey supply 1st use and ge ng the Maggies off to the perfect start with a 6 goal 1st term whilst our defence being miserly and holding the Saints to only 3 behinds. The second was almost iden cal to the 1st with maggies finding 1st use of the ball but probably didn’t quite capitalise enough on the F50 entries as the Saints stepped up their defensive efforts to try and slow the scoreboard damage. Going in at the half with a 71 point lead in a wet heavy day showing we are able to adapdt our game style to condi ons yet not loose the overall structure made Lynsey pleased at the main break. The 3rd quarter turned out to be a bit more of a slog as the Saints managed to score their last 2 majors for the day while we really li ed our intensity around the ball and on the ball carrier allowing plenty of the ball to our forwards but through some inaccurate kicking managed 5.4 for the quarter. The last was always going to be a tough game with the oval having seen the be er for the day but was easily the best quarter of footy for the Maggies as they cked all the key areas Lynsey wanted focused on meaning the scoreboard cked over constantly to register 9.4 for the quarter and a 150point final margin. Best players were tough to pick for the coaching panel as everyone played their part but ended up with Tye McManus, Lachie Jones, Liam Hay, Dylan Bromely, Nick Jenkin & Brad Auld.
This week we head over the hill to take on the ever improving Tant Tigers on their home deck in what we know will be a tough fought 4 quarter ba le.

Junior Colts: Well, it was another hard day at the office. Similar to the previous week; for various reasons we had a significant number of players unavailable. We were spread a bit thinly. Having said that, the young guys who played up, really did themselves proud. No one could ques on their enthusiasm and commitment. Actually credit must be given to all of our players for doing their best, that is all we can ask. Their efforts resulted in a good number of forward entries; unfortunately they were not deep enough to always make an impression on the scoreboard, therefore we were not really able to challenge the young Eagles. This is something that we will work on during the week, as well as moving the ball on more quickly, regardless of where it is on the oval.
Congratula ons to the Hatherleigh boys, they were quick, clean, and played a good ‘team brand’ of footy A er the game as usual we had a chat about things that we did well and things that we need to improve. The boys were reminded to stay strong, posi ve, of the importance to persist, and to make sure that we support each other. The lads considered to be our be er players (as always not necessarily in order) were: John Hinchliffe, Flynn Collins, Conrad Bea e, Eli Jess, Nate Allen, Daniel Hayes, and Boodah.
Senior Colts: Looking forward to capitalising on our great win last week, we were hoping to get another win against a top 4 side to give our
finals berth a chance. Condi ons were horrendous, similar to a pigs trough is how muddy the ground was. The boys knew what was at stake, and they turned up ready to play. All I asked was a 4 quarter disciplined effort and that is what I got. The boys played the best they have all year. Very enjoyable win over last year’s reigning premiers. Best players Max Robertson, Kaiden Carter, Jimmy Murch, Flynn Peel and Mason McKenny. Incen ves went to Ethan Carter and Mason McKenny. Look forward to taking on Glencoe at home.
A Grade: The team that best adapted to the wet weather and muddy oval condi ons at Hatherleigh would be the winner of the A Grade match on Saturday and the Eagles were the team who did this and ran out comfortable winners. The Roosters struggled all day to get the ball past its half forward line and hit the scoreboard. It wasn’t as a result of lack of effort, everyone in the team put their body on the line and gave 100%. Robe players had difficulty making good wet weather decisions and struggled to follow the coaches’ instruc ons while Hatherleigh had a plan, stuck to it and won the match. There were standout players for Robe in Lawrie, Dunn, Du on, Robertson, Regnier, Ma hews and Wachtel, however their best work was done backward of centre. Glencoe next week and the Roosters need to get back on the winners list.

Last week we welcomed Kongorong to the Mecca stadium for Round 13 ac on. The weather was cold and dark for most of the day but compared to some other venues we avoided most of the rain. Our Home Game Major Sponsor was Vitality Personal Training Studio. Thankyou to all our amazing sponsors and the work they do. It was a very busy week for the club with the Glencoe community celebra ng 50 years since the opening of our current clubrooms. Ted Peacock and Peter Mitchell Jnr cut a ceremonial cake to honour the club's history. We also held our annual goods and services auc on Saturday night. Thanks to Dane Paproth for organising the event. Plenty of goods were donated and lots of money was raised, so we appreciate all the dona ons and me people put into this event. During our bye round we also held our annual 50-club event. This was a very successful day with Ethan Bronca being the final number drawn. Finally, we were saddened by the passing of club life-member, legend, and 9- me premiership player Alan 'Kanga' Medhurst. A minute's silence was held in his honour before the A Grade match on the weekend and all our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
Junior Colts: The Junior Colts con nued their hot streak bea ng the 3rd placed side convincingly, si ng top of the table. Although the boys did not kick very straight in front of the goals, we were in command all game and had control of the ball. Some more accuracy would have made the score line look a bit be er for our side. The final score being 4.14.38 to 0.3.3. Best players were Kade Mulraney, Sam Haase, Tighe Hurley, Kallan Price, Blake Gosden and Harley Dale.
Senior Colts: The Senior Colts con nue to show great improvement and challenge sides above them. The rain came down during their game, and it was their opposi on who struggled to kick
straight for most of the game. A few winnable games are coming soon, and the boys will be looking to finish the year strong. The final score being 3.2.20 to 6.14.50. Best players were Lachy Brierley, Digby Richards-Fennell, Kallan Price, Bailey Rothall, Declan Mutch and Kaleb Price. A shout out must also go to Lachlan Brierley who was selected in the Glenelg U15 intrastate Country side. He went to Adelaide all week and was able to challenge himself daily against teenagers from across the state. Some of these players will enter the SANFL system next year and play AFL in the next few years. Well done Lachy, keep at it.
B Grade: A er a couple of weeks off I thought the Reserves might be close to a full-strength side but it was the same story with s ll a fair few lads missing with injury or unavailability. The guys who did suit up played a really good first half and challenged with great intensity and pressure. Unfortunately, we ran out of legs in the second half, and they scored quite easily. A few unavailable players in the seniors didn't help also, but hopefully the reserves will get close to a full squad as they have some winnable games coming up. The final score was 0.5.5 to 12.19.91. Best players were Ben Weedon, Ben Curran, Josh Agars, Dillan Young, Shannon Megaw and Chris Adams.
A Grade: The Seniors finally got back on the winners list a er a series of losses. A blitzing first quarter saw us kick 7 goals to 1. In the 2nd term we got too complacent and let Kongorong right back in it as they levelled the score at half me. A er the main break we got back to playing a be er pressure style of football and were able to score from our quick inside 50 entries. We ended up running away with a 24.13.157 to 15.10.100 win. Best players were Zacc Cocks, Tom Edwards, Dylan Pfitzner, Tory Weaver, Henry Smith and Dylan Childs.

club games 300 kim ross
robe netball club
A massive milestone for Robe tball Club legend with 300 ames for Kim Ross when Robe s Glencoe this weekend at home.
RA club member who con nues y good hard netball, give ommi ee over and beyond, nues to kick goals in oaching and umpiring, and now also presen ng solid ons at league level. It is t has this girl not done….” I think she lives red and white. Her passion for the club is one of the best.
y chance, a new family holiday house that o en brought the ers to Robe on weekends, o Kim to start playing U15s or the Roosters, and she never ed back. Kim played her t A Grade game in 1997 as a ear old under Alison Nunan.
Her journey as a netballer gave ountless opportuni es at oaching roles, in both junior and senior levels, and Kim nues to improve her skills aining coaching edita on. I'd take a wild guess that her most memorable moment was being Coach and ain of the 2003 A Reserve emiership side.
e's some stats… the olades start at being ed in the B Grade MSE side in 2004, A Grade MSE eam in 2013 and MSE Top 10 Player in both 2010 and 2013. A Grade Club Best & Fairest in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013 and runner up in 2010. Best in Finals 2010 and Coach's Trophy
in 2012. In her first year in A Ressies, Kim won Best & Fairest not only in the club, but in the League.
Kim secured her C Grade Umpiring Badge in 2022.
Then there is her Robe Netball Club Commi ee achievements. Kim has been President of the Roosters for a staggering 10 years, and during her voyage has taken on other roles such as sponsorship, junior coordinator, vice president, sports and recrea on rep and a plethora of social commi ee events and end of year presenta on nights. She was deservedly rewarded with the Club Merit Award in 2011 and most recently a Life Membership in 2019.
This has not stopped the girl's passion for the sport as Kim ups the ante at league level taking on the role of assistant secretary and pu ng her hand up to coach the A Grade MSE representa ve two years in a row
Not only has Kim excelled at her achievements, most of them run concurrently during a netball season. She will be president, coach, player and league rep all at once… because that's what you do.
A wealth of knowledge with a “let's give it a go” a tude, Kim always has the club's and member's best interests at heart, and I cannot imagine her slowing down any me soon.
Congratula ons on your 300!
Mount Burr vs Hatherleigh
Mount Burr host Hatherleigh in what is set to be the match of the round. Madi Hagge has recently returned to the Mount Burr side and her presence in the defensive circle when combined with Olivia Dean has had a massive impact for the Mozzies. Hatherleigh’s Demi Vanderhorst and Maddie Pulmer work in unison in the goal circle, being fed well from outside by Erin Watson and Rosie Ne le. Down the other end of the court Mount Burr’s accurate goalies Ebony Clark and Lauren Wheeler combine well in the goal circle. Laura Schultz and Ella Easterby have strong drives to the circle and feed into their goalies with accuracy. Hatherleigh’s Maddie Redman and Elly Redden will fight hard to create intercepts for the Eagles, chasing up any loose balls and feeding them back down the court. This game is sure to be close, however Hatherleigh will likely finish the game with the win.
Nangwarry vs Port MacDonnell
The Demons head down to Nangwarry to face off against the Saints at Nangwarry in round fourteen. Port MacDonnell’s Megan Hein and Kori Collins combine well in the goal circle, moving and shoo ng with accuracy. Nangwarry’s Kayla Gray and Chrystal Lock will apply pressure in the defensive circle for the Saints, working any turnovers back down the court with help from Carly Ploenges and Claire Ferguson. The Bay’s defenders Alana Berkefeld and Alysha Coon are able to create pressure and force errors form their opponents, conver ng balls down the court through Liza Mutch and Shannon Scheidl. Nangwarry goalies Hayley Vanderhorst and Tahlia Wilson will work over me in the goal circle for the Saints, needing to score off as many opportuni es as possible to limit the score line. Port MacDonnell will finish the day with the win; however, the Saints won’t go down without a fight.
Tantanoola vs Kalangadoo
Tantanoola host the undefeated Magpies on Saturday. Kalangadoo’s goalie combina on of Abbey Duncan and Ebony McDiarmid has proven to be a strong point for their team, with both players shoo ng with accuracy throughout the circle, however they will be under strong defence from Tantanoola’s Kate Bromley and Tayla Rowe. Kate Varcoe for the Tigers and Jayde Peacock for the Magpies will have a good tussle through the midcourt, with both players figh ng to gain possession for their respec ve team. Varcoe combines well with Jami Walker as they feed into their goalies Emma Gould and Keryl Ousey from outside the circle. Kalangadoo’s Lauren Kain and Lara Munro fight hard to gain possession and will put the pressure on for Tant’s goalies, snatching up any loose balls or rebounds. Kalangadoo will come away with the win but Tantanoola will not go easy.
Robe vs Glencoe
Glencoe head down to Robe to face off against the Roosters in wet condi ons. Robe will need to u lise every chance that they have, scoring with every opportunity through Demi Carter and Tori Gluyas. Glencoe defenders Sarah Edwards and Chelsea Owen are a strong combina on, forcing errors and crea ng turnovers which will be worked down the court under the guidance of Donna Jaeschke into goalies Chantelle Cocks and Jenna Paproth. Robe defenders Georgia Perkins and Emma Grant will need to work over me in order to limit the scoring opportuni es of Cocks and Paproth, figh ng for every intercept, supported from outside of the circle by Ellen Ramke and Annie Regnier. Both teams will be figh ng for the win, however Glencoe will finish the game with the win.
