a Wild Race Ninja Track debutó con éxito el pasado 6 de mayo en Playa Blanca concentrando a más de un centenar de atletas que participaron, por equipos y a relevos, en una carrera de obstáculos dispuestos en un recorrido de 150 metros situado en Playa Dorada, una dura prueba en la que se impusieron el equipo ‘Los escachaos’, formado por Sergio y Yeray, en categoría masculina, y ‘Hang
Pole’, formado por Thomas y Diana, en categoría mixta. Decenas de espectadores disfrutaron del espectáculo de competitividad y esfuerzo en el que hombres y mujeres lucharon por ser los más rápidos
en completar las tres primeras tandas, realizadas en un mismo circuito pero compuesto por diferentes obstáculos, y cuya suma de tiempos clasificaba a las ocho mejores parejas para disputar las dos tandas finales, una primera eliminatoria y una quinta y última tanda correspondiente a la gran final entre los dos mejores equipos de cada categoría. Tras más de cinco horas de espectáculo, acompañado de juegos de luces y música para animar a deportistas y espectadores, el concejal de Deportes, Ángel Lago, que participó en las primeras tandas junto a Daniel Medina, edil de Igualdad, hizo entrega de los trofeos a los ganadores.

he Wild Race Ninja Track successfully launched on 6 May in Playa Blanca, bringing together more than one hundred athletes taking part in teams and as a relay, in an obstacle race. The tough trial featured a 150-metre course located in Playa Dorada, which was dominated by the ‘Los escachaos’ team, comprising Sergio and Yeray, in the men’s category, and ‘Hang Pole’, comprising Thomas and Diana, in mixed category.
Dozens of spectators enjoyed the competitive and effort-packed spectacle in which men and women fought it out to be the fastest to complete the first three stints, on a single circuit but comprising different obstacles. The cumulative times
recorded allowed for the eight best pairs to qualify and compete in the two final stints: an initial knock-out stage and a fifth and last stint corresponding to the grand final between the two best teams in each category. After an exhibition of more than five hours featuring lights and music to cheer on the athletes and delight spectators, the Councillor for Sport, Ángel Lago, who participated in the first stints, together with Da-niel Medina, Councillor for Equality, awarded the winners their trophies.
