Fox Street Has So Much to Offer Brown’s Shop Rite continues to partner with YOACAP by opening their doors to their Resources for Women Program. They have allowed YOACAP staff to bring their STD testing services and resources into their health center to reach the many young adult women and men who come to shop on Wednesdays and Saturdays. YOACAP staff are there on Wednesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm and Saturdays from 1 pm to 4 pm. Come to patronize Brown’s and visit our table to say hello and hear about the many ways to get your family involved in several wonderful free programs. Special thanks to all of the staff at the Fox Street Shop Rite, Especially Lawshanna Reddy.

Hair and Nail Salons On the first day of November, YOACAP began to work with many hair and nail salons in Philadelphia. The goal was to bring resources directly in the community to help women and their families. In the past YOACAP worked with barber shops and Power 99 to reach men to encourage them to get tested and receive vital information to help save lives. YOACAP would like to thank the following salons for their participation: Annie’s Spa (Cheltenham Plaza), Exquisite Hair Design (Ceaderbrook Mall), Paradii Hair Studio (Wadsworth Avenue), Allure Hair Design (Ogontz Avenue), The Weave Bar (Germantown), The Beauty Studio (Chelten Ave) and so many more. To have YOACAP come to your salon, please call 215.851.1968. Also, thank you to all of the women who got tested for STDs and learned about all of YOACAP’s partners.
