Professional Experience:

Mr. Vishal Melwani is a partner in an international law firm who is also a Certified Public Accountant, an Accredited General Mediator and one of the few solicitors with Higher Rights of Audience in the Hong Kong courts. His practice consists of three principal areas:

(i) judicial reviews in the area of telecommunications and broadcasting;

(ii) commercial disputes between shareholders and joint venture partners; and

(iii) regulatory investigations in the financial sector.

He has been ranked as a “leading lawyer” in the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 editions of the Chambers Asia Pacific Guide. • Mr. Melwani has a strong interest in education and therefore has been acting as a Distinguished Professional Mentor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law since 2006.
