Manager’s Corner April 15, 2022 Dear TGO Community, Today is Good Friday, and on behalf of the Board of Directors and CSA team, I wish you a Happy Easter weekend with your family and friends. The CSA office will close at 12 pm today so our team can spend more time with their family on this special weekend. As I write this article, there are still some reservation times available at Blue Heron Restaurant’s Easter Brunch Buffet. Please call or stop by the Blue Heron if you wish to join us for this special event. Results are in from our 3rd annual TGO Shred Day, held on Wednesday, March 30 . Coordinator Scott Gunnell and several volunteers from the Safety Committee processed 125 vehicles and shredded 6,700 pounds of paper for our community in two hours. I wish to thank all the volunteers for making this annual event a great service to our community. You will find a picture of our shred day and volunteers on page 48 of this issue of The Happenings. Your TGO home is safer from wildfire today because we practiced how to respond when wildfire is threatening our community. TGO held a Wildfire Emergency Evacuation Drill on Friday, April 8 with representatives and equipment from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Brevard County Fire & Rescue, and The Florida Forestry Department. This drill was a test of our communication and cooperation with these agencies. Almost 20 volunteers from our Firewise Committee and Board of Directors were also on hand to participate and offer feedback. You will find pictures of this drill on page 11 of The Happenings. Did you know that TGO cares for over thirty ponds of all sizes and shapes throughout our property? We control invasive plant growth and we stock these ponds with native fish to maintain a healthy balance. CSA works to maintain a 3’ buffer of vegetation around these lakes, and this buffer of taller vegetation helps to filter excess nutrients and grass cuttings before they enter the pond water. Typically, the pond perimeters around TGO homes are on CSA property. Our rules state that homeowners are not allowed to cut or trim this 3’ buffer. Our rules also state that lawn treatments (such as our TruGreen sprayings) must NOT be sprayed within 10’ of the water. CSA crews will trim this vegetative buffer to keep it no higher than 18 inches (or no higher than knee height). This year we hired a contractor called Lake Doctors to assist us with proper maintenance of our ponds, and I met with them last week to review our policies and make sure they are supporting our efforts to build up this buffer. Visit the library’s card room and you will find a new photo display called “A Day In the Life Of TGO.” David Spahn and other members of our TGO Photo Club generously put these photos together to demonstrate what an ideal day at TGO can look like. I hope you enjoy seeing these photos as much as I did. This photo wall is a wonderful addition to our newly renovated amenity. Easter season is also the beginning of project season, and much of my work now is focused on talking to vendors and scheduling work to be completed. I will certainly keep all of you posted on our progress through photos in The Happenings. I will close on a very positive note: Parrish Hospital reported last week that they have not admitted a Covid-19 patient in over four weeks now. It appears for now that the Covid-19 pandemic is under control in our community. Sincerely, Billy Specht CSA Manager

Spring Cup Match Results - April 2-3, 2022 After two days of golf, sportsmanship, gamesmanship, heckling and cheering Team Great Lakes Mashies (Blue Shirts) came out on top over the Space Coast Hosel Rockets in the 2nd Annual Men’s Spring Cup Competition. The final tally of 74 to 61 was closer than the final score indicates as the teams were tied at 22 ½ points each after the day 1 team matches. Captain Bill Schueller of the Mashies accepted the winning cup from last year’s winning captain, Tim Heath, with grace, as he popped the cork on a bottle of champagne and passed the cup around to his 30 teammates. Captain Steve Wright of the Hosel Rockets assembled his team in the Blue Heron and they assumed the role of food servers as they delivered a steak and shrimp dinner to the Mashies, then retired to the Heron Deck to partake of their meal, consisting of hot dogs and beans. Gifts were exchanged and the showing of sportsmanship amongst the teams was heart-warming. All involved can’t wait until the third edition plays out next March. Congrats again to both captains and to all 60 participants for an absolutely awesome weekend of golf and fellowship. CSA Business Wildfire Emergency Evacuation Plan. Continued from cover...

Our Proposed Scenario: A wildfire is actively burning on St. Johns property to the west of our community. Fire agencies are now responding. High winds are pushing this wildfire in the direction of our community, and this fire may reach our community in 30 minutes. BCSO and BCFR are onsite at TGO with equipment to fight fire, and they have directed residents of the Hidden Lakes community to evacuate their homes immediately, and they have further directed all residents residing on Dragonfly Drive, Addison Way, Sunset Drive, and Windsong Way to evacuate their homes and move to The Manor in order to keep these residents safe and provide firefighters room to prepare to fight fire and protect our homes. BCSO has given us permission to use our central Rally Lot and Manor parking as a staging area for all evacuated residents until further notice. As soon as the emergency evacuation plan is determined and assistance is in place, an emergency notice will be sent to the entire community with specific instructions as specified above. All those residents who are currently residing in the community but not asked to evacuate are asked to shelter in place and await further instructions. Time is of the essence, and it is our priority to keep emergency vehicle traffic moving freely, keep all people in a safe area and not allow anyone out for sightseeing who will get in the way of firefighting activity. There is an understanding among volunteers that all family and personal matters are safe prior to reporting to assist with an actual fire emergency. Volunteers are not required to assist with an actual emergency, family first please! Following the drill, all volunteers and representatives will be asked to return to the command center for a debriefing discussion led by manager Billy Specht. Please remember... this is just a proposed scenario. Plans can change based on the direction of the wind and location of the fire. The point of these Evacuation Exercises is to test our preparedness as a team - but what is most important is that each resident of TGO understands what YOU need to do to be prepared. The Great Outdoors Activity Committee Become a Sponsor of The 2022/23 Concert Series It won’t be long before the 2022/23 Concert Series is upon us and now is the time to start securing new sponsors. Sponsors are an integral part of our concert series and are important as they help us provide additional funds to acquire the excellent entertainment we have enjoyed over the years. These sponsors benefit from the exposure they recieve in a variety of ways. Each concert draws over an average of 400 attendees per show. These are loyal supporters of the series, most of whom are season ticket holders - and they understand the importance of supporting the businesses who support us. In addition, the sponsor logos can be found in The Great Outdoors Happenings magazine which is distributed free to the 1600 residents in the community every two weeks, plus reaches over 2,000 online readers. Sponsors for the 2022/23 season will also have a color ad appear on a screen along with a 30 second narration advertising their business. These ads will be on a loop which will play for approximately 15 minutes prior to each concert, directly reaching out to prospective customers. We only accept one sponsor per business category which provides an exclusive opportunity for that sponsor to be represented in our community. Sponsors like Ron Norris Buick, GMC and Honda dealerships have been supporting our concerts series for over 20 years. The lineup for this coming season includes another outstanding variety of performers. If you are a local business owner or know of a business you think would want to sponsor our concerts series, please contact Linda Utz at 407-257-0842.

How To Purchase Concert Tickets

Concert Series tickets are listed as A, B, and C - which are available first to current tickets holders until they no longer want them. If an A ticket becomes available, it is offered to B tickets holders, B tickets that come available are offered to C ticket holders and C tickets are offered to General Admission. General Admission tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office once it opens in October. General Admission tickets can be purchased individually for each concert. AED Basics (Automated External Defibrillator)

Have Someone Call 9-1-1 While You Operate AED

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that diagnoses incorrect heart rhythm patterns that could potentially be life threatening. The device treats the condition with electrical shocks. AED use requires minimal training because an electronic voice prompts the user through each step. If you are helping a person who collapsed and you’re unsure if a heart attack is the reason, don’t hesitate to use the AED. Every minute counts. The device determines if the patient needs an electrical shock or not. Simply place the AED pads on the patient’s bare skin, one on the right upper chest and the other on their lower left side. No one else should be touching the patient because false readings could result. The AED will advise you, the device operator, what to do next. TGO has seven AEDs located at CSA buildings. Community Information & Notices CSA Yard Debris Pick-Up Rules

The CSA crew picks up organic yard debris at least once per week. Tree trimmings should be cut down to a maximum of 4 feet long, weigh less than 50 pounds, and be stacked uniformly at the curb. Loose material such as pine needles, leaves and small twigs must be collected in untied plastic bags or open containers. The CSA will not pick up sod, dirt, tree stumps, construction material (e.g., concrete, wood, drywall, metal), chemicals (e.g., paint, oil), major appliances, or tires. DO NOT bring these items to the CSA Maintenance Yard yourself. They may be dropped off, without charge, at the Brevard County Mockingbird Mulching Facility (321-264-5009) on South Street (SR405). Go past the Lowe’s SR405 entrance then turn LEFT at the first traffic signal. Most other waste items such as carpet, porcelain plumbing fixtures, etc. that are not mentioned above can be dropped off at the Brevard County Transfer Station (321-264-5048) that is also on South Street (SR405), but 0.5 mile past Lowe’s on the same side of the street. Please do not allow pets to urinate on trash or debris. The crew has to pick this up!

CSA Trash Pick Up Rules

The CSA crew picks up household trash 364 days of the year (off for Christmas). You’ll see them in a big truck pulling one or more green hoppers behind it. The guy crouching on the hopper grabs your trash bag as they pass by. To make the collection process efficient, please follow these important rules: • Break down all boxes and put all packing material in a closed bag. • Close all trash bags with twist ties or the integrated drawstrings that some trash bags have. • Tie bags together if they are all light in weight. • Place trash within 1 foot of the road so that it’s within easy reach. • Dispose of your pet’s waste inside the closed trash bag. • Put trash out at the curb by 10:00 am - Pick-up time varies within the park. • Do not mix household trash with organic yard debris or construction materials. • Do not put trash out at night because by morning it will have been scattered by wild animals. • Also be aware that if you place your trash out on the street too early, the vultures think you have prepared them a sack lunch - and the result is not always pretty!

Clearing Vegetation on CSA Property

Our Declaration of Covenants states that “No CSA land may be cleared of any vegetation without prior written permission from the Board of Directors or its designee. Unauthorized clearing of CSA property will result in a hearing, with possible fines and ordered replanting.” This only makes sense, as you would not cut vegetation on someone else’s property without permission first. In order to track this better, we will require anyone seeking permission to cut vegetation on CSA property to fill out an ARC permit. An approved permit must include the CSA manager’s signature, and a copy of the permit will be filed in your ARC file for documentation purposes.

Service Animal Rules

According to Florida Statues under Social Welfare, Chapter 413, Section 08, Paragraph D - “Service Animal” means an animal that is trained to perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The tasks may include, but are not limited to, guiding a person who is visually impaired or blind, alerting a person who is deaf or hard of hearing, pulling a wheelchair, assisting with mobility or balance, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, retrieving objects, or performing other special tasks. A service animal is not a pet. Only Service Animals are allowed in TGO buildings, no other animals are permitted. Please obey the signs.

Guide to Living With Alligators in TGO There are 38 Lakes in The Great Outdoors and all of them are home to alligators. Please keep these points in mind to be safe when alligators could be nearby: • It is illegal to feed, taunt or harass an alligator. • Do not swim or wade in any of our lakes. • Do not walk near the shorelines and do not walk your pets near shoreline. • Do not allow your pets to swim, exercise or drink in or near our lakes. • While alligators can be active at any time, they are active between dusk and dawn and move during the night to different water sources. • Please give our alligators the respect and space they deserve. • For your safety, as well as the safety of your family and pets, KEEP YOUR DISTANCE! If you have an issue with an alligator, please call Sandy Juba at 321543-0502 or Betty Salter at 321-223-8073. Both are experienced in dealing with TGO wildlife.

Employees of the Quarter Administrative Employee of the Quarter - Karan Begy Karan joined our CSA team in September 2021 as a part-time Assistant Manager to Orhan Soysal in our Blue Heron restaurant. When Orhan departed in late October, she was asked to serve as temporary restaurant manager while we searched for someone to fill Orhan’s job. During this time, Karan really started to shine as a leader. She stepped up, showed her commitment to our restaurant, the staff, and our TGO residents. She proved that she knows how to serve good food, provide great service and keep a restaurant and bar running smoothly. She proved that we could stop searching for a manager as we already had the right person for the job. Her employees say that Karan’s best quality is that she works directly with the restaurant team, she’s on her feet, working hard to back up her team, all day, to keep food and service flowing at the Blue Heron. This hard work has earned her the respect of the staff and our TGO owners and guests. Recently we had two chefs come and go, so there were many times when Karan put on an apron and went behind the line in the kitchen and cooked with the back of house team. She accepts that leading a restaurant that is open seven days a week requires many more than 40 hours and she has certainly put in the extra time. This past quarter, the Blue Heron has set all time records for sales and food costs. These records are no coincidence; Karan’s hard work and dedication made this happen. When not working, Karan enjoys visiting her family, especially her granddaughter in Tallahassee. Congratulations Karan, we wish to honor you as our Administrative Employee of the Quarter.

Maintenance Employee of the Quarter - Josh Faiga Josh is our Maintenance Employee of the Quarter. Josh has worked for CSA for two years and three months. He started on the lawn crew, where he showed us hard work, a willingness to learn and an ability to work together with a team. He was selected to be one of our irrigation techs, and has gained a lot of confidence and knowledge since joining the maintenance team. Josh has shown leadership qualities on his irrigation projects this busy season and he has worked hard with his partner, Jan, to complete many high-demand work orders. Josh has maintained an excellent work attendance record and is consistently on time to work, even 30-45 minutes early on a regular basis. He communicates well with the CSA office, with Jordan, and especially with the homeowners, explaining how their irrigation system works. Josh was born in Rockledge, FL. His new pride and joy is his baby son, Cameron. Josh is an adventurer and likes fast cars and loud music (but he always drives 15 mph or less when here at TGO!) In his free time, Josh loves visiting the Springs, coaching his kids in baseball and all sports, and spending time with his girlfriend and kids. Congratulations, Josh Faiga!

I am the beginning of everything, the end of everywhere. I’m the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space. What am I?

Firewise Advice For TGO Residents OVERVIEW Fire is a natural part of most of our Florida ecosystems. It can maintain healthy natural environs or turn homes to ashes. There are wildfires every year, especially during our “dry” winter season.

PREPARATION There is not much that can be done about a home’s exterior construction without exorbitant costs, but a few simple actions may help save your structure.

• Clean the roof and gutters on your home or RV. Dried TGO is built within a Wildland Urban Interface; the area leaves and pine needles are perfect materials to catch on where the edge of a community transitions or abuts into fire quickly. woodlands or grass prairie. Firewise Advice For TGO Residents KEEP YOUR LANDSCAPING LEAN, CLEAN, AND GREEN The goal of Firewise landscaping is to create and maintain a minimum of a 30-foot safety zone around the home or RV. This “defensible space” safety zone increases the likelihood that a home or RV will survive a wildfire, even in the absence of firefighters. This 30-foot defensible space does not need to be devoid of shrubs and trees, but should be wisely landscaped with plants known to be less flammable, separated by walkways and grassed areas.

NOTE: You must have written permission from the Architectural Review Board to remove any living shrubs or trees beyond your property line. Contact CSA with any questions before making landscape changes or a Firewise Committee member for additional help. See page 9 for contact info. The defensible space breaks up the continuity of any vegetation that might otherwise bring fire from adjacent wildlands to the structure. This space also provides room for firefighters to safely work to defend a structure.

• Use lava stone or coarse gravel around any shrubbery next to the structure instead of flammable mulch like bark or wood chips. PLANNING Have an evacuation bag or box of your most important items ready to “grab and go.” Consider including cash, copies of important documents, financial account list, passwords, phone charger cords, phone numbers (if your phone fails), medications, basic first aid kit, flashlight, drinking water, food, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, pet carrier/leash/food, and any easily transported irreplaceable family mementoes. Test yourself: You have just received the notice that you have 15 minutes to leave… What do you take and how fast can you assemble those items? Also, perform an annual review of your insurance. EVACUATION Despite our efforts to contain a wildfire, there may come a time when we must evacuate a portion or all of TGO. Brevard County Law enforcement will make that decision and mandate how and when the evacuation will take place.

Due to our narrow, winding roads and significant number • Defensible space should extend 30 feet outward from of residents, any evacuation from TGO will be challenging. the home or RV. In addition, our main two-lane road in and out of TGO may • Remove any “ladder fuels.” Ladder fuels are vines and not be available to us for evacuation due to the arrival of emergency personnel and their equipment. shrubs that can carry a ground fire up into the treetops. • Move downed branches, dead palm fronds, and pine needles to the curb for CSA pickup. • Prune tree limbs so the lowest branches are more than 6 to 10 feet from the ground.

TGO’s designated Emergency Exit is via the Blue Heron Water Reclamation Facility (see map next page). This exit will NOT support heavy or long vehicles. Do not plan to use your RV as an evacuation vehicle.

• Remove large groupings of highly flammable plants, espe- Look at the map and follow the arrows for your evacuation cially if the plants are close to the home or RV, adjacent to route unless otherwise directed by emergency personnel. decks or porches, or under eaves or overhangs.

If you have not seen this Firewise video about safe-guarding TGO, please make sure you do. This is a professionally produced video that explains the importance of practicing the common sense basics of Firewise within our community. It is available via YouTube, or the TGOCSA.org website. Just go into the porch and look for the small cabinet/shelving. There you will pick up a clue book and a stamp pad. Head out and have fun. Please be sure to re-hide all the treasures for others to find. When you get back to the nature center, return the inkpad and sign the completion book with your “special” mark. Also, on the bottom shelf we have other areas right around TGO where you can find other letterboxing locations to find. Enjoy this fun adventure. 35

WHAT FIREWISE DOES FOR TGO - PART 1

by Ed Brown

FIREWISE is a program of the National Fire Prevention Association (N. F. P. A.) that helps communities like TGO to avoid the horrific, un-planned-for destruction of a wildfire. The agencies that support the planning for mitigating and fire fighting in TGO include: Brevard County Fire Rescue St. John’s Water Management District Florida Forestry Service Brevard County Sheriff’s Office The Firewise Volunteers who come out every Thursday at 9 am are a significant component of the TGO Firewise Program. Their clean-up target is the fence-line of our Golf Cart Nature Trail, meeting at the Raccoon Road trail entrance. Firewise Volunteers are advised to wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, work or garden gloves, sturdy shoes. Bring water/drink for hydration and insect repellant. A hat might be advised. Tools of choice could include: a rake, tarp, loppers, camp saw. Our clean-up goal is removal of dead vegetation, downed palm fronds, tree branches, ladder fuels, like vines (may carry fire up to the roof or tree canopy). You may also be able to remove invasive, exotic and flammable plants, including Cogon Grass and Air Potato Vine, Brazillian Pepper and Chinese Tallow Trees. Pile all vegetative waste along the trail for CSA pick-up. Your Firewise Cleanup is over when you feel it is over: Probably 12 noon or before if necessary. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! Another service of Firewise is planning and implementation of an Evacuation of TGO! This could be called for by a Hurricane, a Wildfire or a Hazmat Spill on I-95 or SR 50. With those hazards constantly in mind, CSA and Firewise had their annual Evacuation Drill on Friday, April 8 at the Maintenance Building. This drill included Firewise personnel, TGO Maintenance crews, Brevard County PD and FD Administrators. Homeowners were not required to participate but will be briefed and advised in our next Firewise Article. Remember, in a “Mandatory Evacuation,” only cars and pick-up trucks will be evacuated on roads and trails in TGO - No Motorhomes. . . . STAY TUNED! The T.G. Carlson Nature Center building houses the Nature Center museum, library, meeting room and a kitchen. The building also has a climate controlled enclosed porch where you can relax, read a book or have a bug-free picnic lunch. The building is open to TGO residents, renters and their guests seven days a week from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. This building went from an old camp site to a new modern concrete building. See how it transformed and learn more about the history of the Nature Museum at: www.tgonaturecenter.org

Happenings Around The Great Outdoors

What a country! Free beer for everyone. An unknown friend along with Darcy Geddis and Chalupa helped direct traffic to the party. Another classic event by Pat Matroniano and the Fawn Trail gang. Marilynn Perry, Cathy Powell, Nancy Matroniano and Anthonette Elliott were enjoying Monday Margaritas. Shred Day was another huge success with TGO residents showing up in carts and cars. The crew that made it happen: L-R: Jeff Basanta, Denny Croteau, Steve Rich, Scott Gunnell, Mike Sowers, Craig Gottschang, Steve Conklin and Tony Del Monte.

Happenings Around The Great Outdoors Pet Corner

Once again, the CSA crew came to the rescue when a water main broke on Coach Club Drive. Repairs were done and water restored in just a few hours. Meet Karma, the sweetest 7-year-old yorkie poo you’ll ever meet. She loves to jump into the pool and chase her ball. She’s great with children and seniors. It’s obvious she is incredibly cute. Her human, Nancy Weitkamp, says she is her best friend. We’ve had numerous entries and placed all the names in a hat and drew out Karma this time. All other entries go back into the hat for future issues. Keep sending your pet’s photos to happenings@tgocsa.com. Ever wonder what the original TGO logo looked like? Here is a sample of the original design we found on a golf cart at a club tournament. Classic!

WANTED YOUR TRAVEL PHOTOS

While the men were out golfing in the Spring Cup tournament, the ladies were enjoying the weather and a couple of beverages. L-R: Lynne Murkerson, Helen Murray, Karen Wright, Julie Zulik, Linda Taylor and Jen Isbill.

Stay in touch with your friends at TGO this summer and send us some photos of your adventures. Include a brief discription of where you are and what you did and we’ll try to include it in The Happenings. Email them to: Happenings@tgocsa.com 49

Feature articles focusing on TGO resident photographers - by Jim Brubaker If you get a chance to talk with Robin, she is like a teen- beauty as I kept clicking away. This was one of my best ager with a first love. Robin’s eyes light up and she almost photo experiences. My whole body was shaking with excitement giggles when she talks of her new love - photography. by the time the cat turned off the trail.” Unfortunately, one of the friends Robin made by the Nature Trail bridge passed away, but not before he taught her a lesson she wants to pass on to you. That friend was Jim Dick. Jim had photography in his veins for years and had a camera with a big lens. Robin said, “I need a bigger lens,” and he replied, “It will never be big enough!”

Meet Robin Francis

Jim’s response reminded me of something I have taught for years. You will always want new equipment and it is nice to have but relying on it too much may actually harm your photography. Ansel Adams said, “You don’t make a photograph just with a camera.” The camera only shoots what it sees. You shoot what you feel. Learning to see your emotions and apply composition skills is how you snap the photos you love to share. More on that in future SNAPSHOT articles.

Back to my conversation with Robin. She told me she misses Jim so much; his guidance changed her life forever. Robin went on, “Some must have that first cup of coffee in the morning or that drink before dinner, but for me, my day is incomplete if I do not get out there with my camera - seeing and enjoying anything concerning nature Unlike the teenager, Robin will share her new love with - birds, butterflies, bees and bugs - along with water, and you, hoping it will help enhance your life as it did for her skies. The camera has enhanced my joy of being out and about - it enhanced my life.” and Steve. She and her husband, Steve, have a great retirement life here in TGO and she bubbles over with enthusiasm telling of that life in TGO and on the road. They have always loved RVing, but now their campgrounds come alive with flowers, birds, and things to photograph - even the nasty bugs become photo subjects.

It was Covid that helped her find this love and get back into photography. Like many, Robin was isolated and home-bound. Old re-runs on TV did not suit her so she dug out an old, dust-covered camera and took off for the TGO Nature Trail. On the trail she found not isolation but camaraderie with others at the bridge watching birds, gators, turtles, snakes, and butterflies - breathing fresh air, having friends, and learning new stuff. “You know,” Robin said, “those outings enhanced every moment of my life because it trained my eyes to see things that I just glossed over in the past and it took me out there where things happen - things like the photo of the bobcat. I was on a trail and that cat just appeared and casually started walking toward me. I just stood there, forgetting to be scared, and watched his

50

Capturing a photo of a bobcat is exciting for every Floridian photographer, it certainly was for Robin.

Robin’s story can inspire all of us. Whatever your passion: nature, birding, golf, boating, antique cars, biking, rug hooking, art … Take your camera and snap away. It will enhance your life. In each issue of SNAP-SHOT we will feature photographers and their stories. SNAP-SHOT’s goal is to inspire you to enjoy taking your camera out and about and share photos with us all. You can help me shape SNAP-SHOT. Send your tips, ideas, and stories to jimbrubaker@earthlink.net

What your neighbors are saying... “Tom and Shelley are experts in the hearing field. they know what they are talking about and back up what they sell. Good product, excellent service, highly recommended.” – PS “My wife and I visited Contentment Hearing Care because of recommendations by others in our community. The facility environment was friendly, convenient, and inviting. Tom Contento, explained about hearing loss and why something should be done to improve hearing to prevent or lessen some of the side effects of continuing hearing impairment. A series of tests were performed to determine the nature and types of hearing loss and the results were thoroughly explained to us in layman's terms, which made it very easy to understand and to make decisions. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Contentment Hearing Care to others.” — GJ
