Polina Gluzman Clairmont
In my art throughout this year I’ve focused on topics of abstract, warped images and surrealism. I’ve worked with a variety of several portraits and snaps of faces, making my main topic to be people. In my fascination with symbolism I have used tarot, humanization of objects and distortion to represent the ideas of surrealism. I’ve used the inspiration from artists like Lee K. and James Tissot to develop my own ideas and encourage display of my experiments. As well as abstract representations I’ve also focused on makeup, fashion and alternative styling. In this I hope to research into ideas of selfexpression and individuality. I have been photographing, using oil paint/watercolours, chalk and pencils to address all my topics.
