Tindall Security was founded in 1932 by the orginal Mr Tindall as an electrical contractor. Over the last 35 years the business has specialised in security systems and has moved away from working as an electrical contractor. I joined as an apprentice 49 years ago, so have seen the company evolve and grow to where it is today right from the heart of the business. Today, Tindall Security provides a large range of security services as subcontractors for the AV and custom installation industry, including intruder alarm systems, fire alarm systems, locksmith services and high-performance safes. We are the first security company in the UK to be awarded the Secured By Design (SBD) accreditation, the official police security initiative. This exclusive accreditation is only awarded to companies and products that provide the very best protection, recognised by the police. Ideal for high value and highrisk homes, this accreditation and the process required to deliver it can offers the best peace of mind available. As well as SBD we also hold NSI Gold accreditation, the security industry standard, which we have had for 30+ years and SSAIB, the industry’s other leading security industry standard. Some companies have one of these, we are among the very few to have both. We also hold MLA (Master Locksmiths Association) accreditation, the approved standard for undertaking locksmith and safe installation. Our company is also Safe Contractor, CHAS & Constructionline approved, these accreditations are often required for the construction industry and acknowledge our professionalism. OUR OFFERING TO AV AND CI INSTALLERS
We use and install Grade 2 monitored intruder alarm systems, panic alarm (hold up) systems, all integrated and connected to monitoring stations and police or security organisations. These products and systems are bespoke specified for the exact client requirements. As every customer and premises can be unique, we take pride in finding the best possible combination of products to create our security systems. We also have full design capabilities, with in-house CAD designs, technical surveyors and security specialists. Every project has a dedicated account manager. For every project we perform extensive risk assessments and surveys, which helps ensure that all security risks are anticipated and protected. Due to our background in electrical contracting, we can work effectively and flexibly with other

contractors on multi-discipline projects on construction sites or occupied installations. We also have extensive experience working alongside AV, smart home and other contractors. We are the first SBD accredited security company in the UK and we have worked on numerous high value properties and bespoke projects over 35 years in the industry.
