Cyclists and electric scooter users must use the cycle lanes; if there isn’t one, stay in the lane closest to the pavement. Using the bus lane is not permitted. Bikes and electric scooters can only ride on pavements that are wider than 5 metres. Bikes and scooters must not be tied to public property such as lamp posts, benches, bins, etc.

Be aware that drinking alcohol in the street is illegal, and you can be fined from 30€ – 1500€ according to the severity of the disturbance. The police can fine people for buying goods from unauthorised street traders as well as the sellers themselves.
