New! Owl Prowl
Do you have what it takes to survive? This class is all about making it out of the woods alive. We’ll cover everything you need to know about getting out into the wilderness and having a great time--from shelter set-up, water purification, and food preparation to fire building, packing the right gear, and more–in this four-week class. To cap off your learning experience, we’ll put the skills we’ve gained to the test with an overnight campout at Fischer Farm. Min 6 | Max 9. LS
Whoo goes there? Join us as we take a relaxing evening hike through the fields around Fischer Woods. We’ll learn all about these amazing nocturnal creatures, their habits, habitats, and maybe even spot an owl or two! Seeing owls is not guaranteed, but we’re sure to have a great time! Min 6 | Max 20. LS
Family Campfire
Join us as we explore Fischer Farm’s wetlands! We will see what kind of critters we can find and why they would want to live in these muddy messes. Exploration areas are dependent upon how weather impacts the wetlands. Min 6 | Max 20. LS
Spend a relaxing evening around the fire with roasted s’mores and fun campfire stories. Children under 3 free. Min 6 | Max 20. LS
