Learners receive health wellness kits from DepEdButuan, BSP By Venus L. Garcia
Even with the prohibition of face-to-face classes in the Caraga region, the Department of Education (DepEd) - Butuan City Division continues to advance a holistic societal development of the learners through its Youth Formation Program. In partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas - Butuan City, A hundred kindergarten and grade school students from the schools in barangays Masao and Agusan Pequeño in this city became recipients Caraga INFOCUS
of the health wellness kits that were distributed. The simple turnover program was attended by Margie Marte, deputy director of the Banko Sentral ng PilipinasButuan, schools division superintendent Marilou Dedumo, together with Evangeline Razon, youth information program focal officer. The school heads, district supervisors, teachers, and barangay officials were also present and gladly accept the kits intended for the learners.
The health wellness kits, comprising of face masks, face shield, alcohol and soap, were then immediately handed over to the student beneficiaries. “Thank you Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Butuan for extending your support DepEdButuan. We know that these kits are essential for the health and safety of our learners especially during this time of the pandemic.
