Unveiling Our 150th Anniversary Logo As you would almost certainly have heard, 2021 marks the long-awaited 150th Anniversary of the Swiss Club in Singapore. It is with pride and pleasure that we unveil the official logo for the year’s celebrations. A TEAM EFFORT The logo you see on this page is the result of a months-long collaborative process, spearheaded by Aaron and Riza. We would like to thank those Members who submitted their suggestions, the Committee for their valued feedback and patience, and everyone who contributed to this colourful journey of 150 years and counting. A NOD TO THE PAST, AN EYE ON THE FUTURE The modern typography and minimalist graphic elements counterbalance the long, rich heritage of the Club. The absence of the lower portions of the numerals ‘150’ loosely references a rising sun – a metaphor for the Club’s onward and upward journey. While we gratefully acknowledge the past, we look forward to the future with curiosity, optimism and excitement.
