English Language explores the ways in which we use words to establish an identity and relate to others. You will develop your own creative and journalistic skills by writing for a variety of audiences and purposes.
English Literature A Level
English Literature is designed to develop your critical thinking, analytical, and creative skills while exploring and analysing some of the greatest classic and modern literary works.
Film Studies A Level
Film Studies will give you a new appreciation of film as an art form, enhance your understanding of the world in terms of competing values, attitudes and beliefs, and put theory to practice by making a short film or writing a screenplay.
Further Maths A Level
Further Maths is designed to stretch your Maths knowledge. You will study core maths and statistics, mechanics or decision maths as well as more challenging material such as complex numbers and hyperbolic geometry.
Geography A Level
Geography deals with vital issues such as climate change, migration, environmental degradation, social issues and natural hazards. You will undertake two supervised fieldwork trips and one independent one to study these phenomena in real life.
