All about apprenticeships If you’ve already decided on a career and are ready to get started, an apprenticeship is a great way to earn while you learn. As an apprentice, you will work for and be paid by an employer while being assessed by the College to gain a qualification as well as a wealth of work-related knowledge, skills and experience. The length of your apprenticeship will depend on the level undertaken and the industry. You will need to find an employer as part of your apprenticeship application, but we can help you with this. We’re proud to be both an apprenticeship provider and employer. We have long-standing partnerships with employers across Bristol, including DAF, Bristol Airport and Vistry Group, as well as more than 400 small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across a range of sectors. When you undertake an apprenticeship with us, you will be a part of the College community, with access to our bustling Centres, specialist facilities to support your learning and our students’ union.
