Our Advanced Construction Skills Centre and Advanced Engineering Centre are kitted out with industry-standard workshops and equipment, while our City Salons and City Restaurants provide inspiring real-world environments for our students to hone their craft in.
Variety of course subjects
Our range of course subjects means we have something for everyone, whatever your interest or career aspirations. Whether it’s your dream to work with animals, you’re a business professional in the making or you thrive on helping others, you can study the subjects you need to get there at City of Bristol College.
Expert tutors
Our teaching staff are experts in their field, with many continuing their work or research alongside teaching our students to enhance our curriculum with up-to-date industry knowledge.
Careers not courses
Our courses are designed alongside local and national businesses, and all courses include an industry placement element to make sure we are teaching our students the skills employers want to see. We don’t just want our students to leave here with a qualification; we want to equip them with all the skills they need for successful careers.
Strong links with employers
Our partnerships with organisations including DAF Trucks, Bristol City Council, Smurfit Kapper, Magnox, BrunelCare, Petit Forestier, University of Bristol, and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust mean our students have the opportunity to undertake apprenticeships with the biggest employers in their sector. Through a combination of on-the-job training and learning at college students gain sector knowledge, real-world experience, and maybe even a career with an industry giant!
