Age: 15 yrs. and older Dubuque Community Y 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 35 N. Booth St. 9700.400: Jan. 8-9 9700.410: Feb. 5-6 9700.420: Mar. 5-6 Interested in a great summer job or challenging career as a professional lifeguard? Through videos, group discussion, and hands-on practice you’ll learn teamwork, rescue, surveillance skills, First Aid, CPR/AED, and other skills. Successful completion results in a two-year certification in lifeguarding. Become certified for FREE! The $180 (or $216) lifeguard certification class fee will be waived for those who interview and get hired as a lifeguard now for the 2022 summer season. Age: 12 yrs. and older Monday, Mar. 14 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Dubuque County ISU Extension & Outreach 14858 W. Ridge Ln. Suite 2 Be the sitter every parent wants to call! Learn all the responsibilities that go along with babysitting including safety and first aid. Learn how to plan fun and age appropriate activities for kids, too! Bring a sack lunch and drink. This class is offered in partnership with Dubuque County ISU Extension & Outreach. 14
