The Prez’s Corner .......

Wow……where did January go?? I wish everyone a good February and hope you have not been affected by the storms and flooding. I know some members who have damage and hope they can get things rectified smoothly and quickly.

The recent Longbranch Saloon tour and lunch was a huge success! We had more cars and members participate in this event than any other event aside from the New Member BBQ!! It was marvelous seeing all the Porsches lined up at Porsche San Luis Obispo waiting to depart. Thanks to the staff at Porsche SLO for providing coffee and pastries and a great atmosphere!!

I participated in the Zone 8 Presidents Meetings on January 21st in Riverside, CA. It was good to meet all the Presidents of other regions, our Zone 8 Representative, Lori DeCristo, and Todd Benz the PCA National Secretary. Detailed discussions were had regarding the Porsche Parade being held within our Zone, insurance and liability, and rules for track events, as well as issues facing all Regions such as member participation and inter-regional collaborations. These meetings culminated with the annual Zone 8 Awards Banquet on Saturday evening.

The final and most prestigious award presented at the Banquet is for Zone 8 Enthusiast of the Year, and I am thrilled to say that it was presented to California Central Coast’s own Alfred Abken!!! No one in our region or Zone participates in more PCA and automotive related events than Alfred. Details and pictures of Alfred and his award can be found further along in this issue of the Coastalaire!

I asked the assembled Presidents if any of their regions were doing four-wheel oriented events for Cayennes and Macans. Everyone was enthusiastic about the idea but no one had really set anything up just yet. Your CCCR Board discussed this at our meeting this week, and we think it could be a fun thing to try. Drop me an email if you think driving over High Mountain Road from Arroyo Grande to Pozo (or vice versa) would interest you. Obviously, we would wait until after the rains start to subside!

February 28th, CCCR is going back to Scotts Valley California, to visit the amazing collection at Canepa Motorsports. If you missed this event last year, make sure you register when the MSR is posted. It is a collection not to be missed!

Phase I registration is open now for the June 18-24, 2023 Porsche Parade at the La Quinta Resort in the Palm Springs area. If you plan on attending, please register sooner than later so you can secure a hotel room at the resort. Actual event signups are not until April but you need to secure your general Parade registration and hotel. The Parade website, https://www.porscheparade.org/, has all the details.

Hope to see you at an event soon!

Let’s Drive!,

If you missed it, here is our article in the January Panorama, From the Regions section. Our new members at the New Member BBQ.

Get Out & Drive ........

Well, we started off 2023 with a big bang! The monthly drive and lunch at the Longbranch Saloon was a great success, starting off with a great visit to the Porsche San Luis Obispo dealership. A big thanks to them for hosting us and providing the “goodies”!

Another highlight was the annual Zone 8 dinner and awards program last month held in Riverside. Our very own, Alfred Abken, was awarded the Zone 8 Enthusiast of the Year! A very well deserved award to a great guy. The best part was that he was completely surprised. We also found out that Chuck Jennings placed 2nd in the Zone 8 Autocross CC12 division for 2022.

I realize that there are many Porsche events to chose from every year but this year there is one that only comes around when there’s a blue moon. The Porsche Parade is actually happening in Palm Springs, California this year. Yes, it could be 100 degrees during the day but it is a beautiful heat! I have signed up and will be on site for at least the first few days. If you have never attended one then this could be the one you should go to.

The other major Porsche events happening this year include Rennsport Reunion 7 at WeatherTech Laguna Seca Raceway and the Werks Reunion in Monterey during Car Week. I hope to see some of you at one of the major Porsche events, please introduce yourself if you see one of us there.

If you are a new member or have not had an opportunity to participate in one of our track driving events then this should be your year to do it. Our autocross events at the Santa Maria Airport, are among the best there are at a great location, and is not too far away. For the first timers, the autocross class is a great way to learn about what

your Porsche can do and how safe it is on the track. Our Drivers Education events are a little higher speed events and are a great way to see what you and your Porsche are capable of doing. For the first timers you have some very experienced teachers riding with you to help you with the ins and outs of driving the track. Whether it is at Buttonwillow or Laguna Seca you will have a great time.

In the last few months I have received 6 inquiries as to the Porsche 997.2, wanting to know how good a car it was. I did not know any of them and they had not previously owned Porsches. They had seen that we publish a Porsche magazine so we must know the answers. I told each of them that we love to drive Porsches but most of us do not have the technical knowledge to speak to the 997.2’s level of quality as experts. I said that I own one and love it....and I check the oil level, actually the car does that for me too. I pointed all of them towards Guy at The Stable, not sure if they ever called him. When I asked why they were looking at the 997.2’s they all said they had seen a video by PCA and that they were the most recent and reasonably priced Porsche 911’s available right now and were the best looking. So I finally looked at the video the other night. And sure enough there was Vu and Nathan talking about the 997.2. Here’s that video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g11dz2hIxzE . It inspired me enough to Get Out and Drive my Porsche!

Alfred Abken - Enthusiast of the Year

The Coastalaire February 2023 16
Lori DeCristo & Alfred

2022 PCA Zone 8 Awards Banquet

To all members who do NOT know Alfred……he is probably one the hardest working members of our Region, Zone, and PCA. Alfred is a veteran of 20+ Porsche Parades, he attends all major PCA and Porsche events such as Werks, Rennsports, ünStock, etc. He works at all track events for our region and most others in southern California. Alfred is a Master Concours judge. He is a volunteer extraordinaire no matter what event he is participating in. No member I know does more, nor drives the thousands of miles a year to participate in PCA activities than Alfred!!! If there is a more dedicated and enthusiastic PCA Zone 8 member than Alfred, I have yet to meet them!

~ Joe Shubitowski, President

And here’s Alfred’s Story.......

This year, the 2022 Zone 8 awards banquet was held at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in downtown Riverside, CA. It has been a California Historic Landmark since 1961, and a National Historic Landmark since 1977.

Although I have had occasion to eat at the Mission Inn Restaurant on several previous occasions, this would be my first time staying there for the night. The Inn was originally built in 1876, and has been added on to numerous times since then. Needless to say, if you ever find yourself in the California Inland Empire, it is well worth stopping by. It has an extensive, interesting

history.

However, this is not meant to be a travelogue. Following a chicken dinner, with mashed potatoes, and broccolini, several delightful desserts were offered. There were also beef and vegetarian options offered. This turned out to be one of those happy/sad kind of days. Shortly after entering the room where the banquet was held, I ran into Jeffry Waxman, of Santa Barbara Region. He mentioned that Anita Banke, a long-time SBR member, had recently passed away.

PCA National Secretary Todd Benz spoke briefly. He was followed by managers of both Porsche Ontario and Porsche Riverside, who graciously sponsored the evening, and provided many interesting door prizes.

The highlight speaker was Matt Stone, formerly with Motortrend magazine. Matt has authored

several books, his most recent effort is The IROC Porsches. Matt’s presentation centered on early coach-built versions of Porsche’s 356, then later models. Apparently, Matt has had access to Porsche’s historical archive, and he had some fascinating photos to share. Quite a few I had never seen before. There were photos of cars from Zagato, Glockler, and Beutler, to name just a few.

Finally, it was on to the awards presentations. Our very own Chuck Jennings won second place in class CC12 for autocross for the 2022 season. Unfortunately, Chuck was not present. He will receive his award later this year. (There was a supply chain issue that prevented the proper awards being handed out for the autocross series.)

The surprise of the evening, was your humble scribe being awarded the Zone 8 2022 Enthusiast of the

Year. I was so stunned, I do not recall which Region was awarded Region of the Year. My apologies.

Drive N’ Dine to Longbranch Saloon

The first Drive N’ Dine of 2023 was quite a big event for our CCCR-PCA group. Starting out in the morning there were well over 60 Porsches with over 75 members all meeting at our new Porsche San Luis Obispo dealership for coffee, donuts and other treats for breakfast. Then we headed out on the road for a driving tour through some north SLO county country backroads to Creston for a great lunch at the Longbranch Saloon. The hamburgers were delicious and everyone seemed to have a good time. It was nice to get out and drive after the major rain storms we have been having. We are looking forward to many more!

2022 Zone 8 Award - Chuck Jennings

Although he was not at the event in person, our very own Chuck Jennings earned enough points in the Zone 8 autocross events to win second place in CC12 at the 2022 Zone 8 awards banquet at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in downtown

Riverside in southern California.

Ian Anderson, President of the California Inland Region, took 1st place. He was also a great help to our publication with his wonderful photography at our autox’s.

The Coastalaire February 2023 27 Trip to Healdsburg

I have attended this event since it began in 2019 and thought it would be the coolest thing to drive my own Porsche on the Boardwalk. This year I got to do it, but there’s a story attached.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns I decided to restore my 1997-built Boxster back to its former glory, or better. She had recorded almost 300,000 miles at the start of the pandemic so it meant restoring not only the interior and exterior, but also the drivetrain as well.

I decided to keep the original color (Glacier White) and had her painted. At the same time I started to work on the interior. I wanted to honor the old Porsches that had those wonderful plaid-covered seats and interiors. I had been searching for a specific pattern which had come in my 1987 Golf GTI and I had just found it with the caveat that I could choose the highlight color!

By the end of 2021 the rest of the exterior had also been finished, such as completely rebuilt headlights, now converted to HID with projectors and LEDs, and a new canvas top to finish it off. Finally, the carbon fibre hood was also replaced with a new one, since the old one (you may remember) had tried to kill me on my way to Sebring and was in sad shape. This beauty had to be shared with

350 of my closest friends at the next Boardwalk Reunion which was to be held on October 15, 2022. My wife agreed to come on the 2,300 mile round trip if I assured her that the car would make it with no issues. I did! Now I had to make good on that promise (or else!)

I had a chance to go to the Amelia Island Werks Reunion in early 2022 which was a 500 mile roundtrip and the car had been fine with the exception of a subtle clunk that I also felt on my way to Sebring and back for the 48 Hours Club Race a few weeks before.

Front drivetrain clunks are usually

drop-links or other ball joints because they take most of the abuse, so the drop links were the first to be replaced. The clunking disappeared but would come back after 30 – 40 miles of driving, albeit a bit softer. I decided to remove and check all of the ball-jointed parts on the front, which included the control arms, the trailing arms and the steering arms. I found play in all of them so I replaced them all including the upper strut mounts, just in case. I

went for a long drive to test it all and she felt great! Very sharp and crisp … up until mile 100 or so and then …. Clunk!

It was now late September and time was running out. I also noticed that my front tires were completely worn on the inside edges (probably toe, I thought) so a new set of fronts was ordered and I booked some tire-mounting and alignment time at Vortex in Tampa since I don’t have the alignment rack anymore. Bob Brooks was very accommodating and fit me in quickly when I told him I was pressed for time so I drove down on a Thursday and left it to be picked up the next day around noon. Early on Friday Bob called me and told me that one of my front shocks was toast. Since they had the car on a lift (with the suspension off the ground) they quickly discovered it as they started to remove the tire. I hadn’t seen it because I use a 4-post lift which keeps the suspension compressed.

Now we needed to find a new shock or a complete set of shocks if necessary. My car had Bilstein 9-way adjustable PSS9s installed (about 150,000 miles ago) and new ones were not available anywhere. We even thought of replacing the coilovers with OEM-style struts, but I didn’t have the springs anymore and new springs from Porsche would cost way too much. The only available option that we could get in a couple of days was a set of H&R coilovers, advertised as streetperformance. They were ordered and installed and the alignment was performed with a few days to spare, even though there were a couple of shipping SNAFUS. Bob was really instrumental in getting it done. Thanks Bob!

Testing the suspension was from Vortex back to PedrosGarage, more or less 20 miles, mostly on the Suncoast Parkway. The car felt fantastic! I was now sure that I would make good on the promise I made my wife about the reliability of the car.

The day for us to depart came quickly. We had decided to make the trip to Ocean City, NJ (1,126 miles) in three days so that we wouldn't arrive too tired and be able to enjoy the sights as well. I figured that driving a bit less than 400 miles each day would work well.

We planned the first leg to go from our hometown in Odessa, FL to somewhere in Georgia. On our way we had a leisurely detour through beautiful Savannah, GA and then continued to our first overnight rest, which ended up being in Yemassee, SC.

From our departure to the point where we left the highway to see Savannah, the ride had been fine, but as the roads got a bit bumpier the complaints from the right seat started getting louder. When the road was nicely paved you couldn't have a better ride, but when it was irregular, especially the concrete bridges the car started bucking/porpoising, just like Lewis Hamilton’s 44 Mercedes during the first half of the F1 season this last year. But I figured and explained that because the springs were new, we just needed to put some more miles on them and they’d be fine. She didn’t buy it.

After breakfast, we loaded-up for day number 2 and the next 400 miles of our journey. We would stop just past Richmond that evening. As we left Yemassee and moved through South Carolina, North Carolina and

finally Virginia, the roads got progressively worse. We’re really spoiled in Florida because winter does a number on the roads up north, which we don’t get to see.

By the time we got to Ashland, VA we were both beat-up and ready for a good night’s rest. We had a nice dinner next to the Hotel and packed it in for the night.

The third leg would be the shortest and we had decided to get off I-95 because it was so bumpy and also because we didn’t want to fight the bumper-to-bumper traffic around Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD so we took US 301 through Dahlgren, VA into Maryland, a piece of Delaware, and finally New Jersey.

The scenery was absolutely stunning! The drive was unbearable! Even I was uncomfortable and I’m used to track set ups for the suspension.

The Coastalaire February 2023 29

Road Trip to BWR-III

But the torture was over (for a day or so) and now we’d get to enjoy the Boardwalk Reunion!

The Boardwalk Reunion is one of the best-organized Porsche events I

now lining up and getting ready. Still, some give it another buffing, check the chrome and make sure that the glass is perfect. Others stroll up and down the rows of cars, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones. Local participants from NY, PA, MD, DE, NJ, and other nearby States, start arriving at the airport as well but it all moves in a very coordinated way and each car gets parked quickly and efficiently.

Police are on the route to make sure that the long line gets through with no issues. Little kids on street corners are in awe as they wave to the neverending line of cool cars! One of them just kept yelling to every driver: “Cool car, Mister!”

Once on the Boardwalk the cars are organized in two lines down the center of the boards and the two lines go from 6th Street all the way down to 14th Street.

have attended (and I’ve been to quite a few). The organizers, Ellen Beck and Bob Gutjahr, have an army of welltrained volunteers to make the event run like clockwork.

Friday evening is the volunteer reunion where last-minute information is disseminated and any issues get resolved.

Saturday is when the actual event takes place. From very early on, you can see Porsches of all ages and models being prepped as if for a Concours d’Elegance at the main hotel’s (The Flanders) parking lot. The cars are to be marshaled at the Municipal Airport where Ocean City, NJ Police are standing by to lead the caravan of cars through some city streets and then onto the Boardwalk, but that won’t happen untill 11:30AM.

Cars start filling up the section of the airport designated as our grid. Rows and rows of beautiful examples of Porsche design and engineering are

Each participant then goes to the registration table to get their goodie bag and credentials for the Boardwalk. As we get closer to 11:00AM, our fearless leader Bob climbs on top of the logistics truck and holds a full drivers meeting, giving everyone all the information they need to be safe and enjoy the rest of the day on the Ocean City Boardwalk and seashore.

The “drivers, start your engines” command is given and a Pace Car takes the first 50 arrivals behind him in single file, escorted by an Ocean City Police SUV. Immediately after

After everyone parks their car (around noon) we get to mingle with the crowd, answer questions, shop, have lunch or attend one of three Tech Sessions held at the Music Pier

the 50th Porsche, a second PACE Car follows pulling along another line of 50 more Porsches, and this goes on until Pace Car #7 takes with him the last group. All totaling 354 Porsches! The parade of 350+ Porsches through the streets of Ocean City is incredible.

I was very honored to have been asked back for the third time, as a presenter. My topic for 2022 was: “TOP 10 DON’Ts with your Porsche”. The

The Coastalaire February 2023 30

second Session was by John Paterek titled: “An American Roadster” and the third one by Dom Milano: “Photographing your Porsche”.

The cars stayed on the Boardwalk until 4:00PM when we carefully drove off the boards and headed back to our respective hotels. I was staying at The

Flanders Hotel where the Saturday Night Social and Dinner were held. Great dinner with friends at the perfect venue for this event. A truly enjoyable way to cap off the Reunion

(depending on traffic) until we got back home. We did make it back in one piece, shaken, not stirred.

Next year’s Boardwalk Reunion IV will be held on October 13, 2023, number V on October 19, 2024 and number VI on October 18, 2025. After a long day, my wife and I had a good night’s rest, because we knew what was ahead of us.

When we were packing the car on Sunday morning, we agreed to do the return trip in just two legs. Sunday we drove 12 hours to Florence, SC mostly on I-95, passing through the heavy traffic of Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC.

The ride was awful. The suspension I think got worse. It really felt as if instead of shock absorbers the car had solid links with zero rebound and zero damping. Those 12 hours were exhausting and we knew that after that we still had another 7-10 hours

After one week where my car had been parked I’ve decided that this suspension MUST go! Looking now for a new set of the same Bilstein PSS9s and the H&R Coilovers will be returned.

It’ll take a lot of sweet-talking to get my wife back in the Boxster for another extended trip, but I’ll convince her again. BTW, now the odometer reads 304,400 miles (and counting).

Stuttgart Market Letter

taking top 356 honors at $362,500. Early 911s also remained strong with an average sale price of $168,000 and only one example failing to sell. Low sale for early 911s was a driver-quality non-matching numbers car sporting an older refurbishment that sold for $80,000.

Modern classics remained strong with 964 and 993 Turbos continuing to bring big money with a high of $962,000 for a 1993 911 Turbo S ‘Lightweight’ followed by a 1994 911 Turbo S X85 ‘Flat-Nose’ selling for $830,000. Our “Normal” 964 Turbos sold for an average of about $350,000 while 993 Turbos averaged just shy of $250k and 993 Turbo S’s averaged roughly $550,000. 993 Carrera 4S’ also saw slight appreciation with the average sale being about $25,000 over the moving overage of $125,000.

January’s Porsche market started off with a bit of a holiday hangover but picked up in the back half of the month with the Arizona auctions turning up the volume and the online auction marketplaces following suit. Overall we saw a 71% sell-through rate (which was about on par with December) producing 357 sales at almost $43 million.

The market that took the biggest hit last month was the 1-2-year-old car market as buyers seem to be less interested in paying over MSRP to drive a car today than waiting for an allocation from their dealer. The GT3 market has cooled off considerably as only one example sold above $300,000 at RM Sotheby’s Arizona sale. I guess that buyer doesn’t read our market reports because the new norm is roughly $260,000 for a nearly new GT3, touring or otherwise.

Top sale for the month once again belongs to a Porsche 959 at $1,682,500. Although the 1987 959 Komfort fell about $1m short of last month's 959 Reimagined by Canepa, it was right in line with the ‘normal’ 959 markets. Carrera GTs seem much softer at first glance with an average sale price of $1,290,000, especially when compared to the $2m average last January. But the real issue here was the quality of the cars on offer. Two examples were repaints and the third was fairly high mileage, at least for a Carrera GT. Surprisingly, the “Star Car” from January, a 1959 718 RSK Spyder, failed to sell over at Mecum early in the month as it surely would have been our top sale for the month. Great car, but probably the wrong venue.

Porsche 356s remained strong with only 3 out of the 15 on offer failing to sell. Speedsters continue to show a bit of appreciation with a beautiful 1956 Pre-A Super Speedster

On the water-cooled side of the modern classic market, we saw two 996s sell for over $200,000 with a 2003 GT2 hammering down at $249,996 and a rare 996.2 GT3 RS bringing $210,000. The RS was already in the United States having been brought in under Show & Display laws. 997 GTs and Turbos however reigned supreme with a new record for a 997.2 GT3 RS at auction selling for $406,500. Other notable 997 sales were a Ruf RT12 S bringing $450,000 and a 2011 911 Speedster bringing $368,000.

The collector car market typically uses the January auctions as a barometer as to what to expect for the upcoming season. While we did see some growth in many segments of the Porsche market the overall dollar volume and the total number of listings have started to slow considerably. Many of the online auction marketplaces that popped up in 2021 didn’t make it through 2022 and I see a further few shutting down here in the first half of 2023 as the market consolidates to the top 2-3 contenders. February starts off with the Retromobile sales in Paris which will give us a good idea of the market in Europe as towards the end of last year pricing took a much greater hit across the pond producing an opportunity for some trans-continental flips. We’ll see what the city of lights has to offer and report back next month.

CCCRPCA Board Meeting Minutes

December 7, 2022 Board Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm at Piadina’s.

Our Board:Attending were Andy Winterbottom, Ron Green, Chuck Jennings, Bob Kitamura, Bob Bruington, Joe Shubitowski, Carol Walker, Bill Chadwick, Gil Igleheart, Joe Kuntze, Jeff Bartel, and Mark Schilling.

Absent was Sanja Brewer.

President: Andy discussed our meeting venue. The January meeting will be here at Piadina’s. In the future, the SLO Country Club room is too small and the new Porsche dealership is a possibility. Sanja will inquire as to a larger room here at Hotel SLO. Joe Kuntze likes the Porsche dealership.

As for accounts receivable, we have received no money from the 356 Registry to date. Also, we may consider alternate venues for the Holiday Party.

Vice President: Ron Green needs emails and phone numbers of new board members for the RPM.

Secretary: Carol sent the minutes by email. Bill Chadwick moved to accept the minutes. Joe Kuntze seconded and all approved.

Treasurer: Bill Chadwick reported that total club income for 2022 was about $120,000. We are allowed 15% of that amount in non-member income, and we are very close to that limit. However, we can offset some non-member income with our 2022 donations ($5,000 to NOOR Foundation and $1,000 to the Multiple Sclerosis Society) which will put us well in the clear for non-member income. Autocross received 37% from non-members, while DE received 15% from non-members. Dine/drives made $104 in profit this year. The end of the year projection is for around $40,000 as compared to $27,500 at the beginning of 2022. Chuck asked if we are paying Zone 8 for Autocross? Yes. And Bob Kitamura asked if we are invoicing Hotel Butler (George Garcia) for advertising? Yes. Bill has not initiated a tax CPA agent yet. Joe Kuntze moved to accept the report, Gil Igleheart seconded, and all approved.

Membership: Joe Shubitowski reported for Sanja there are five new members, 1 transfer in, two transfers out, for a total of 420 primary members, 282 affiliates, to total 702 members. Sanja will call the new members.

Activities: Gil Igleheart said someone suggested that at the New Member BBQ we offer them leis and name tags. It was suggested to have a check in table as well. There are some of the drive/dine events that are coming up short of money, there were four at the Gimmick Rally who didn’t pay. We will go to Brooks Burgers on Dec. 17; the Longbranch on Jan. 28; Feb. 25 San Simeon BB&G. We are going to try having one event a month with one cars & coffee meet up.

Safety: No report.

Driving:

Autocross: Chuck Jennings talked about resurfacing the Autocross track, stating that we have to order a minimum quantity of materials and if there are leftovers, we can possibly use it in other areas. The Autocross schedule is set except for one month that conflicts with a DE event. There are three Zone 8 Autocross dates, which is what they requested. Last year the Autocross school was very successful and he would like to hold another one this year. If we repave the track, the curing period is probably 24-48 hours. The Corvette club could potentially contribute a third of the cost but they haven’t approved that yet.

Driver’s Education: Bob Bruington set the date for Buttonwillow for May 5, 2023, which coincides with the GGR event on Sat/ Sun. GGR may not hold theirs because they keep losing money. We could offer them a kickback and if we go to their event, we would get it back. Laguna Seca is set for June 26. Late October we will go to the new track at Buttonwillow. Laguna Seca budget is going up to $30,000. The track is newly resurfaced and he’s sure people will want to attend. The estimates for track resurfacing at Santa Maria are $15000-$29000 with the higher estimate having the wrong square footage. He will report in January on the final estimate and is hoping for the $15,000 range. Bob stated he would like to be Vice President next year and suggested we need to review the By-laws. Gil, Joe S, Bob B. and Ron will be the committee to review them.

Newsletter: Bob Kitamura said our next print issue will be in January. Gil will ask the new SLO Porsche dealership for advertising and to sponsor the New Member BBQ. Bob will compose an article in the newsletter on both the Santa Barbara and SLO dealerships. Gil will work with Bob K.and Bill on advertising from the dealerships.

Website: Joe Shubitowski stated the calendar is up to date. He has published an email for Brooks Burgers next week. He is meeting with Scott Burns about the web page updating for more social media information. He will compose the nomination article for Alfred Abken for Enthusiast of the Year.

Director at Large: No report.

Old Business: None

New Business: Andy introduced our two board members, Jeff Bartel and Mark Schilling.

The next meeting will be January 4 at Piadina’s, Hotel SLO. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
