Columbia Archaeology Program

The Columbia Archaeology Program (CAP) is a research and education organization that provides a focal-point for engaging scholarly, professional, and community perspectives on the social dynamics and historical legacies of Columbia, South Carolina's diverse residents. We are particularly interested in those histories which lie outside the ‘official’ and ‘mainstream’, and those histories which challenge our existing ideas and understandings of the past.
