NUNO CENTENO

Nascido em 1979, no Porto, é fundador/ diretor da Galeria Nuno Centeno. Nomeado pelo Artnet, um dos 10 galeristas mais influentes da Europa, em 2018 vence o prémio do melhor stand da feira internacional Frieze em Nova Iorque e é distinguido para o “Apollo 40 under 40” da Apollo International Art Magazine, que celebra a próxima geração de inovadores inspiradores e líderes empreendedores do mundo da arte na Europa. Entre 2016 e 2019, integrou o comité de seleção das galerias da ARCO Lisboa e é membro do conselho Municipal de Cultura do Porto. • Born in 1979, in Porto, he is the founder/director of the Galeria Nuno Centeno (Gallery). Nominated, by Artnet, one of the 10 most respected gallerists in Europe, in 2018 he won the award for the best stand at the international Frieze fair, in New York. In addition, he was distinguished for the “Apollo 40 under 40”, by Apollo International Art Magazine, which celebrates the next generation inspiring innovators and entrepreneurial leaders from the art world in Europe. Between 2016 and 2019, he was a member of the selection committee for the ARCO Lisboa galleries and he is also a member of the Municipal Council of Culture of Porto.
