I fratelli Pilutti riassumono oggi nella loro officina i 100 anni di storia dell’attività di famiglia. La bottega di fabbro era stata aperta dal nonno nel centro del paese di Ronchis. Negli anni ‘70 il padre amplia l’azienda e la trasferisce nell’attuale sede e dopo qualche anno entrano in azienda Marco e Massimo. Il loro obiettivo è di dare al cliente un prodotto di pregio ad un livello artistico esclusivo. Dalla fucina escono prodotti unici e personalizzati, che racchiudono l’arte di un tempo attraverso forme nuove ed originali. I fratelli Pilutti vi aspettano nel loro laboratorio, per godere dell’atmosfera magica che solo le botteghe artigiane sanno creare!

In their workshop, Fratelli Pilutti, have consolidated 100 years of history of their family-run business. The blacksmith’s workshop was founded in the centre of the town of Ronchis by their grandfather. In the 1970s, their father expanded the company and moved it to its current location; a few years later, Marco and Massimo joined the company. Their aim is to provide the customer with a high-quality product of the utmost artistic level. The smithy forges unique, customised items, that re-interpret the art of yesteryear using innovative, original shapes. Fratelli Pilutti await you in their workshop, in order to savour the magical atmosphere that only craftsmen’s workshops are capable of creating!

Così anche noi, insieme allo scultore Nico Colle, che ha realizzato le parti in legno, abbiamo voluto giocare...

Barriers, mobile bulkheads, the behaviour of water. These were most likely the thoughts that flooded Leonardo da Vinci’s mind when he was called to go to Friuli. Yet surely his brilliant mind strayed into coming up with many other solutions without any real aim, save that of intending to entertain and astonish. Just like Leonardo, together with sculptor Nico Colle, who has created the wooden parts, we also intended to experiment...

Nel 1967 Elio Mazzola, in una ex falegnameria apre, sostenuto da entusiasmo e passione, quella che allora si chiamava “Sperimentazione orafa”. L’attività si trasferì una prima volta nel 1970 e da allora le creazioni subirono una evoluzione lenta e inarrestabile. Nel 1982 il laboratorio si è trasferito definitivamente nella sede attuale e si è dato il nome di Fucina Longobarda. Il gruppo famigliare composto da Elio, i figli Nicola e Federica, le tre collaboratrici, Gabriella, Barbara e Alice si è proposto un programma d’ulteriore crescita, in comunicazione e creatività. Nel 2017 l’azienda ha festeggiato i 50 anni di attività.

In 1967, Elio Mazzola, thanks to his enthusiasm and passion, founded what at that time was known as “Sperimentazione orafa” (“goldsmithing experimentation”) in a building that was formerly a joiner’s workshop.” The enterprise was first moved in 1970 and since then the creations have undergone a slow yet relentless evolution. In 1982, the workshop moved permanently to its current location and has changed its name to “Fucina Longobarda” (“Lombard Smithy”). The family group consists of Elio, his sons Nicola and Federica, three collaborators, Gabriella, Barbara and Alice, has proposed itself a programme to support further development, in terms of communication and creativity. In 2017, the company celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Il colore azzurro dell’acquamarina richiama il colore dell’acqua, la chiusura, progettata da linee geometriche, si interseca con delle linee fluide che vogliono raffigurare il movimento della corrente dei fiumi friulani.

The colour of the aquamarine recalls the colour of water, while the closure, designed using geometric lines, intersects with fluid lines that aims to represent the flowing movement of the rivers in the Friuli Venezia Giulia area.

Dopo un percorso di 38 anni di esperienza nel campo della Conservazione è ora in possesso dei requisiti per la qualifica di Restauratore dei beni culturali. “Unisco l’abilità della conoscenza del restauro alla passione di ricercare la storia dell’oreficeria del Settecento. Questo studio mi porta ad approfondire le informazioni sulla nascita dei gioielli da giorno con paste di vetro, cristalli di rocca, smalti, cammei, similoro, acciaio, imitazione di perle ecc. Ispirandomi all’epoca passata, creo gioielli per ritrovare il piacere di abbellire la nostra femminilità. Tutte le creazioni sono pezzi unici e possono essere ricreati, ma sempre con un particolare diverso.”

I have 38 years’ experience working within the field of Conservation and I have the necessary qualifications to work as a Restorer of cultural heritage. I combine my restoration know-how with the passion of researching the history of jewellery-making in the 18th century. This study has led me to carry out an in-depth examination of information regarding the creation of daytime jewellery made with glass paste, rock crystal, enamels, cameos, ormolu, steel, imitation pearls, etc. Drawing inspiration from the bygone era, I create jewellery to rediscover the pleasure of enhancing our femininity. All my creations are unique items and can be recreated, yet each of which is slightly different from the others.
