Lindon Days Lindon Days will be held July 30Aug. 6. We’ll kick our city celebration off with our traditional horse trail ride up Provo Canyon on Saturday morning, July 30. On Sunday, we are excited to host a new event at City Center Park. We encourage families to bring a picnic dinner and listen to a Lindon bluegrass band. On Monday, we’ll have our ever-popular Car Show at City Center Park. If you’d like to show off your car that day, you can register at the park the day of the event at noon. We will also have a Cowgirl Clinic that evening. This provides an opportunity for kids to ride a horse or learn to rope. On Tuesday, we are bringing back Bingo. Bingo is geared to promote our wonderful Senior Center. Bring a senior citizen to get into the event. In the early evening, we are excited to be partnering with Utah Roundnet. They will host an all-skill level Spike Ball tournament at Pheasant Brook Park. Later that evening, we will head to Pioneer Park for our City Council Ice Cream Social and Movie in the Park. On Wednesday, our Huck Finn Fishing event will provide a fun evening at Fryer Park. Fishing will be done via hand or net only. Please leave your poles at home. All fish caught must go home. We’ll also have our tie-dye booth open. Bring a white shirt to tie-dye that night or purchase one at the stand. On Thursday, we will head to the Lindon Horse Arena for our Family Arena events. New this year will be adult stick pony racing. Sign up to ride a stick pony or sign your child up to participate in mutton bustin’. Registration can be done at lindonrecreation.org. Friday will start out at the Lindon Community Center. We are bringing back our video game tournament. Players will play Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo Switch. In the evening, grab a seat on Center Street for our annu-

al Lindon Days Parade. If you’d like provide an entry for the parade, you can register at lindonrecreation.org. Saturday will be a fun full day at the Lindon Aquatics Center. We’ll have events all day that include the Cardboard Boat Regatta, Dime Dive, Bellyflop Competition and the KenDucky Derby. Lindon residents can enter the Aquatics Center free this day with proof of residency. Close out Lindon Days with us at Pheasant Brook Park. The band lined up this year will be rocking ’80s anthems all night. Our amazing firework show will conclude Lindon Days directly after the concert. We are so excited to select our 2022 Lindon Days Jr. Rodeo Royalty. The royalty will represent Lindon City and the sport of rodeo throughout the year. They will be riding in rodeos and parades, attending city events, and creating service projects that will benefit the community.
