VODACOM TANZANIA EXTENDS FUEL PAYMENT VIA M-PESA TO ORYX FUEL STATIONS COUNTRYWIDE

ecently, Tanzania’s leading technology and Communication Company, Vodacom Tanzania PLC and Oryx Oil Tanzania Ltd have entered a new partnership to enable their customers to use Vodacom M-Pesa’s ‘Lipa kwa Simu’ platform to pay for fuel. The ‘Lipa kwa Simu’ service is now available in all 52 Oryx fuel stations countrywide. This service in addition to cash payment is meant to increase customer convenience while strengthening the financial payment system.
