f you’re planning a trip to the Isles of Scilly, make sure you plan ahead and book your car parking with Isles of Scilly Parking, or you might find yourself in a muddy field miles outside of town, with minutes to spare before the boat sails. A family run business established in 2005, IOS Parking provides conveniently located, secure parking for any vehicle. From a motorbike to a motorhome, there are also spaces for eight coaches. The team can also collect and deliver trailers, including large boat trailers to and from the Scillonian or the freight quay. There are two locations to choose from: Premier Parking, which is the most convenient being just a stone’s throw from the Scillonian’s quay and ideal if you’re travelling with small children or elderly relatives; and Standard Parking – the only purpose-built
park-and-ride site available for the Scillonian, a little over a mile from the quay and offering a shuttle service every ten minutes. Both locations offer the closest secure parking to both the quay and Penzance Heliport, and if you’re arriving into Penzance by train, there’s also a transfer service available. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the shuttles – for those planning to explore Scilly with their pooch – and transport for two plus luggage is included in the cost of parking.
