¿Qué es un Alux? EL GUARDIÁN MAYA
¿En alguna ocasión tus padres o abuelas te hablaron sobre los aluxes? Un alux es un equivalente de un elfo o duende germánico que se dedica a hacer de las suyas. Tienen presencia en la península de Yucatán y en determinados puntos de Guatemala y Belice. Se tiene la creencia que los aluxes son pequeños, con una estatura que se asemeja a la altura de las rodillas de una persona normal, además de que tienen apariencia de personitas portando trajes típicos mayas. La tradición afirma que estos seres tienen la capacidad de volverse invisibles y de poder comunicarse o espantar a los humanos. Están asociados a la naturaleza, grutas y selvas.
