Le loro etichette, infatti, sono una perfetta sintesi del passato, memoria della tradizione, testimonianza del loro territorio, riferimento per il presente, indicatrici di una strada per il futuro. La linea Gli Scudi di Cecchi, nonostante le recenti difficoltà dovute al Covid, ha evidenziato un trend positivo e ascendente delle vendite. Interessante anche la performance commerciale all’estero soprattutto negli USA e Canada, ma anche in Germania, Gran Bretagna, Svizzera, Olanda, Russia, Giappone. In particolare, il Chianti Classico Storia di Famiglia Docg, prodotto dai vigneti di Castellina in Chianti, è il vino in cui l’azienda si identifica maggiormente. Di colore rosso rubino intenso tende al granato con l’invecchiamento. È fine al naso, mentre al gusto è intenso e persistente. La sua struttura è ampia, di grande equilibrio e di grande armonia. Di queste bottiglie ne sono prodotte quasi un milione l’anno. Il suo mercato principale rimane l’Italia a sancire l’interesse dei consumatori per un brand che ha segnato la storia del vino nel nostro paese. Importanti anche i riconoscimenti internazionali con 92 punti di Wine Spector nella vendemmia 2015, 93 punti di James Suckling nelle vendemmie 2015 e 2018, mentre quest’anno il Gambero Rosso ha attribuito 3 Bicchieri alla vendemmia 2019. The top quality of Cecchi’s Tuscan wine production is represented by Gli Scudi line, consisting of three Chianti Classico DOCG wines, the symbol of the brand’s age-long grape growing and winemaking experience. Made from Sangiovese grapes grown on the estate’s best vineyards, this line highlights the values and history of Cecchi, a winery which has been operating for nearly 130 years in the wine business. Its labels are, in fact, the perfect synthesis of the company’s past, present and future. Cecchi’s Gli Scudi line, despite the recent difficulties and challenges that the Covid pandemic brought, has had an upward and positive sales trend and an interesting commercial performance abroad, in particular, in the US and Canada, as well as in Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Russia and Japan. The Chianti Classico Storia di Famiglia DOCG label, obtained from the Castellina in Chianti vineyards, is the wine with which the winery identifies the most. Deep ruby-red colored verging on garnet red as it ages. Elegant on the nose, intense and lingering on the palate. A full structure, well balanced and very harmonious. Nearly one million bottles are produced per year. The main market remains Italy, as evidence of Italian consumers’ interest in a brand which has marked the history of wine in our country.
