Things are getting hairy in America. I’m finding it difficult to keep track of the mounting calamities. Inflation is grinding down every family budget, gas prices seem to have no ceiling, and the pandemic refuses to go away for good. Everyone worries about war, we’re hearing whispers of a recession, and as I type this letter,
the shadow of higher mortgage interest rates. Renters are getting pinched as well, as prices are climbing along with the cost of groceries. There seems to be no economic relief in sight, but I always try to remember the old adage, “I cried when I had no shoes, until I met the man with no feet.” In other words, when
