HEATH FAMILY

or the May-June issue of The Sanctuary Living, we are excited to feature the Heaths as our Cover Family. Brandi and Shane Heath began calling The Sanctuary home in 2016 when they moved to Mandeville from the Baton Rouge area because of the great location and schools. Fast forward seven years, and add some significant life changes, the biggest of which was the birth of their first child, Cayman, who was born last May. Moving to The Sanctuary was an easy decision for the couple when they first started looking for a home on the Northshore. the plan was always to eventually build a home reflecting their style, wants, and needs for a family residence. Constructing their home would have been a natural choice since Brandi is a licensed general contractor and designer, as well as the owner of L & H Home and Designs. Coming from a family of contractors in Hammond, Brandi enjoys incorporating her construction knowledge with her design expertise to provide the experience of the two in one. The couple looked to Brandi’s combination of the two elements to build their own home, but that was not exactly how it turned out.
