Did You Know? Architectural Review Committee (ARC)
The Holidays are upon us! We can’t wait to see your beautiful Fall wreaths and other decorations! 8.3 Holiday decorations 1. Fall decorations may be displayed from October 1 to November 30. 2. Winter holiday decorations may be displayed from November 15 to January 31. 3. All other holiday decorations may be displayed no more than 15 days prior to the holiday and must be removed within 15 days after the holiday.
Be careful with string lights! 13 Lighting 3. On rear patios low voltage lights may be installed under the patio cover only if the bulbs are downlights and no portion of the bulbs, string/wires, sockets, and fixtures may be visible to neighboring lots or street. Lights must be turned off when not in use.
It’s a wonderful time to open your security door to let in the fresh air!
If you are installing a new security door, please choose a style that is within our Santa Barbara style. The Aztec and desert designs are nice, but here in Corte Bella stay away from designs with kokopellis, coyotes, cacti, etc.
10 Security Doors – Front and Back 1. Color must be brown, beige, black, bronze, or match body color of house. 2. Simple decorative design within the architectural design of Corte Bella are required.
Remember it is not always better to ask for forgiveness rather than ask for permission! Submit all of your exterior changes before you make the change. ARC does not grant variances because you’ve already done it. Please avoid having to tear down what you’ve done because it doesn’t comply with the guidelines.
