Clubs/Beverage Clubs Aalto Cocktail Aalto Cocktail was founded in 2011 with a simple mission: to bring a classy alternative to the regular student parties. At our events the beverages are always top notch and there will be zero warm beers served. Your life will never be the same after learning what true taste and integrity means in a drink. Aalto Cocktail has over 1200 members at the moment and is one of the most popular recreational clubs at KY. We arrange many different types of events from cocktail parties and tastings to our very popular cocktail workshops where you can come and learn the art of mixology with our guidance! Baccus Baccus is Aalto University’s wine club originally founded already in the late 1980’s. The mission of Baccus is to promote wine culture and wine knowledge among students. Concretely, Baccus organizes several wine tastings and other wine related events throughout the academic year e.g. Mursu Tasting in the beginning of the academic year and Sparkling Night, the traditional Wappu champagne event. All Aalto students from total wine-newbies to seasoned connoisseurs are welcome. Above all, the aim is to enjoy wine (and life) in a relaxed setting. KYllä Oluelle Come enjoy good beer and company with KYllä Oluelle – a club that is determined to promote beer culture in Aalto University. We organize events ranging from the likes of intimate beer tastings with brew masters from some of Finland’s most exciting craft breweries to traditional pre-afterparty Barventures, that gathers beverage clubs under the same roof. We also coordinate the famous Vappu beer, some hall of famers including May Day Bellini and KYlderado! Don’t get us wrong – we LOVE our beer, but we also like to have a good time no matter IBUs and batch-size. WhisKY Viskikerho WhisKY aims to provide you with a hassle-free gateway to the world of whisky by doing monthly tastings of varying themes. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a complete newbie, we’ll get you acquainted with some intriguing whiskies and special tastings. We are also one of the first KY clubs to have a space in Otaniemi! Together with Aalto Cocktail, we have worked hard and created an atmospheric event space, perfect for our tastings.
