Mr. Johnson I’m incredibly excited to join the Board of Trustees, to serve a school that has taken such excellent care of my children for the past 13 years. —NICK JOHNSON Legacy Christian Academy is pleased to welcome Nick Johnson to the Board of Trustees. Mr. Johnson is the owner of Lakes Tennis Academy, in Frisco, which has been recognized by the USTA as one of the best private clubs and junior tennis programs in America. His devotion to tennis developed at a young age and has remained constant. After spending thousands of hours training on the court, Nick was offered a tennis scholarship to play at Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa. His excitement to play Division I tennis was quashed during his freshman year, when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Nick underwent a lifesaving bone marrow transplant at Baylor Medical Center; just 30 days later, doctors proclaimed that he
