Formed in 2011, the piano duo of Julian Jacobson and Mariko Brown is now established as an ensemble of rare distinction, vitality and originality, acclaimed for the freshness and originality of their programmes. They have won considerable critical praise for their Southbank and St John's Smith Square London concerts as well as for their CDs on Naxos and SOMM Recordings. Several composers have dedicated works to the duo, and their performances of Julian's duet transcriptions of Gershwin masterpieces have been widely acclaimed.
