PENLEE HOUSE GALLERY AND MUSEUM
UPSTAIRS GALLERY Established in 2014 by jewellery designer Esme Burton, The Upstairs Gallery is a light filled, atmospheric space in Penzance town centre. A Beautiful Room; curated by Esme will be an interior styled re-invention of the gallery space. Imagining a bright and breezy summers day by the sea with fine art, illustrations and prints specifically created for Circa 21 from local artists, Stephanie Croydon, James Eddy, Tara Leaver, Tanya McBride, Theresa Shaw and Andrew Wilkey. Although Penlee House is temporarily closed due to Covid-19, the Gallery is open online! Penlee House is running Penlee Inspired Online, an exhibition that showcases works inspired by collections and exhibitions past at Penlee House Gallery & Museum. Check out the exhibition online, and get inspired yourself with the ‘Invitations to Create’ videos, and video content for children, babies and Under-5s.
