DAYS 1–4 I L IMA, PERU/CUSCO/SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCA Arrive in Lima, and enjoy a musical presentation during a welcome lunch at Casa Aliaga. View the world’s largest private collection of preColumbian art at the Larco Museum. Travel to the Sacred Valley of the Inca the next day and explore the agricultural terraces of Moray. Then browse the colorful market in Urubamba. Spend a day exploring the valley’s Inca sites with archaeologist and National Geographic

DAYS 6–7 I MACHU PICCHU/CUSCO Hike to the Sun Gate and watch day break over Machu Picchu. Board the train to Ollantaytambo, then continue to Cusco. Enjoy a special dinner with local opera singers. Delve into the legacy of the Inca and the Spanish conquest during a full-day city tour, including the 15th-century Sacsayhuamán fortress.
