BELLAGIO E VARENNA Bellagio, località conosciuta in tutto il mondo, si trova all’estremità del promontorio che divide in due rami il Lago di Como. Ci appare subito dal battello, nella sua posizione incantevole, con le bellissime ville e le piccole case addossate le une alle altre. Meta privilegiata di uomini illustri, il paese è diviso in ventiquattro frazioni che offrono panorami sempre diversi. Percorrendo la via Garibaldi attraversiamo il cuore del borgo. Bellagio offre ai turisti una meta per lo shopping, una siesta nei numerosi bar e ristoranti. Da non perdere inoltre sono i giardini della celebre Villa Melzi, visitabili da marzo a ottobre (www.giardinidivillamelzi. it). Da Bellagio si può raggiungere in battello Varenna, sul ramo di Lecco, altro splendida località del Lago.
