MOVE STRONG: RESTORING STRENGTH AND MOBILITY

Justina Bailey M$96/7 131395 Phyllis Musseau M$96/7 135458

19 YRS+

This is not your typical style of strength and stretch class. It is designed to ‘up-regulate’ the muscles that are less used and ‘down-regulate’ the ones that are overactive. It was once believed that fitness classes should require activating more muscles, but studies show it has become more relevant to learn how to let muscles release their constant tension and act like muscles should: turn on when needed and turn off when not. Floor work is part of this class. Monterey Recreation Centre April 29–Jun 24 F 11:00am–12:00pm
