SEVENTY FIVE YEARS OF PORSCHE SPORTS CARS

In 1948, Ferry Porsche realised his dream of a sports car: with his team, he produced the Porsche 356 ‘No. 1’ Roadster. It marked the birth of a legendary brand and laid the foundation for an exemplary success story, for the Porsche legend. The sports car manufacturer will mark its 75th anniversary in 2023 with celebrations around the world and the Porsche Vision 357.

Rolling Start

PORSCHE WILLOUGHBY - 911% PORSCHE SINCE 1969.

AOur last W edition was dedicated to 30 years of Porsche at Willoughby, in this edition we focus on the future of Porsche at Willoughby as well as our achievements as a brand. In 2023 we celebrate worldwide 75 years of Porsche sports cars and 60 years of the 911, in June we are making our comeback at the 24 Hours Le Mans. On the 100th anniversary of the classic race, Porsche will once again be fighting for overall victory with the newly developed Porsche 963.

Porsche AG confirms its medium and long term targets. "Should the economically challenging conditions not further intensify significantly, we expect a Group operating return on sales for the 2023 financial year in the range of 17 to 19 per cent" said their CFO Lutz Meschke, "we are making Porsche even more resilient and our brand stronger than ever". Worldwide sales in 2022 at 309,884 were 2.6 per cent more than the previous year of 301,915 vehicles, from this position of strength Porsche heralded a new era in September 2022 with the biggest IPO in Europe.

Porsche wants to continue with its ambitious electrification strategy with the Macan BEV, and electric 718 Boxster and Cayman arriving in the future. These will be followed by an electric Cayenne, the fourth generation of the SUV will underline their goal of delivering more than 80 per cent of its new vehicles as all electric models in 2030. Also planned is an all new electric SUV positioned above the Cayenne based on the platform SSP Sport.

During 2023 the Cayenne will undergo one of the most comprehensive upgrades in the history of Porsche, the updates to the third generation model include three further developed plug in Hybrids with greater ranges. By the time you read this edition we will have released pricing on April 18th for the new Cayenne, to simulate extreme conditions, the prototypes travel around the world. Taking place in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, in total, four million test kilometres were covered!

There were demanding off road tests in Spain, punishing sand dunes in Morocco and dynamic ice tracks in Finland. The world premiere is Q2 this year from Shanghai. I have been invited to see and drive the new Cayenne in Tenerife early July, so will be able to report back to you by August. We hope to see the new Cayenne arrive in Australia by the end of the year/or late Q3.

It is no longer a secret that new Porsches are hard to source, the waiting times can certainly be frustrating, we continue to have many more orders than normal, please do not assume that it is an impossible task, we are taking expressions of interest on all of our models and will endeavour to turn these into orders quickly. Our sports cars have been the hardest to secure, especially the 718 series, which are waiting to return to their original factory again in July, after it was closed when the pandemic hit Europe.

We are still opening our all new Porsche Approved Service Centre in 2024 located in Artarmon. As you can imagine, the initial purchase, planning, approval and then actual building always takes longer, especially when the existing tenants do not depart until December this year! Regardless, we have now received approval from Porsche having submitted the plans. In an effort to help the congestion at Willoughby you will now be met by our concierge staff Monday through Friday, they will remove the stress of our inadequate car park!

As always I look forward to welcoming you personally next time you are visiting.

Dakar Rally: A Test of Endurance for the Toughest Drivers and Vehicles. The Porsche

911 Carrera 3.2 4x4 Paris-Dakar (953) was a Legendary Winner in 1984. The New 911 Dakar Brings History Back to Life with its Rallye Design Package.

P Dakar

Porsche is proud to present the new Porsche 911 Dakar, a one-of-a-kind sports car that is as comfortable off-road as it is on the highway. The new 911 Dakar is a celebration of Porsche's iconic win in the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally and a demonstration of the limitless possibilities of the Porsche 911 concept.

Limited to just 2,500 examples, the new Porsche 911 Dakar is designed to evoke the spirit of the first overall victory by Porsche in the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally, which also marked the birth of all-wheel drive in the Porsche 911. To commemorate this momentous win, the new 911 Dakar is offered with an optional Rallye Design Package, which is reminiscent of that iconic winning car.

The new Porsche 911 Dakar boasts a ground clearance of approximately 50mm higher than that of a 911 Carrera with sports suspension, making it suitable for off-road adventures. The standard lift system can raise the front and rear ends an additional 30mm, and its ground clearance and ramp angle rival those of conventional SUVs. The lift system is not just for driving over obstacles at low speeds, but is an integral part of the re-tuned suspension. The 'high level' setting is available for the most ambitious off-road adventures.

The Porsche 911 Dakar is equipped with specially developed Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tyres (245/45 ZR 19 at the front and 295/40 ZR 20 at the rear), which are ideal for challenging terrain and are highly cut-resistant. The chunky tread pattern is 9mm deep, and the reinforced sidewalls and

threads consist of two carcass plies. Summer tyres are also available as an option, also with two carcass plies in addition to the standard all-terrain tyres.

The new Porsche 911 Dakar is powered by a three-litre biturbo six-cylinder engine that delivers a thrilling 480 PS * (353 kW) and a maximum torque of 570 Newton meters, with a compelling boxer sound. With an eight-speed PDK and Porsche all-wheel drive as standard, the new sports car is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The standard equipment also includes rear-axle steering, engine mounts from the 911 GT3, and PDCC anti-roll stabilisation. The interplay of all these components ensures that the 911 Dakar is just as dynamic on sand and loose surfaces as it is on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The maximum off-road performance of the Porsche 911 Dakar is thanks in part to two new driving modes, which are selectable via the rotary switch on the steering wheel. Rallye mode is ideal for loose, uneven surfaces and features rear-focused all-wheel drive. Off-road mode automatically activates the high clearance and is designed for maximum traction on difficult terrain and sand. Both modes also feature the new Rallye Launch Control, which enables impressive acceleration on loose surfaces.

The 911 Dakar features a newly developed, fixed lightweight rear spoiler made of CarbonFiber-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP), and the CFRP front luggage compartment lid with striking air outlets from the 911 GT3. Standard off-road details include

red aluminium towing lugs at the front and back, widened wheel wells and sills, and stainless steel protective elements on the front, rear, and side sills. The side air intakes on the redesigned front end are also protected against flying rocks by stainless steel grilles.

The roof of the Porsche 911 Dakar features a visible 12-volt power outlet for the headlights of the optional roof rack, which is available via Porsche Tequipment.

Ready to hold up to 40 kg: the equipment accessories available for the 911 Dakar, such as canisters, recovery boards and other luggage, can be securely fastened in the robust Aluminium roof basket, featuring a matt Black powder coating. If the stage lasts into the night, the integrated LED auxiliary headlights light the way through the desert.

CANISTER

Indispensable during every stage: the painted 10-litre fuel canister and the 12-litre plastic canister for drinking water with 'PORSCHE' logo. Both containers are fixed onto the roof basket with special, easy-to-open canister holders so that no time is lost when refuelling.

For the 911 Dakar, three additional designs are available as decals that are reminiscent of historic Porsche vehicles from the East African Safari Rally of 1971, 1974 and 1978 and can be attached directly ex-factory or retrofitted via Tequipment.

No. 5: 911 Paris-Dakar

The 911 Paris-Dakar (also known as the 953) competed in the 1984 Paris-Dakar rally and won with drivers René Metge and Dominique Lemoyne at the wheel. This modified sports car was a predecessor to the successful 959 Paris-Dakar and was modified to include all-wheel drive, earning it the name "911 4x4".

No. 4: Cayenne S Transsyberia

The Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia dominated the 2008 Transsyberia rally, securing 1st to 6th place with its powerful V8 engine borrowed from the Cayenne GTS, producing 385 PS. This modified rally car conquered the 7,108 km journey across the taiga.

No. 3: 924 Carrera GTS

Walter Röhrl, master of Porsche rallying, drove the golden 924 Carrera GTS to victory in the 1981 German Rally Championship. At the first trial start, he clinched 1st place and went on to win three more races along with a 2nd place finish. Built in just eight weeks, this car was a testament to Röhrl's expertise.

No. 2: 911 SC Safari

In 1978, Porsche entered two Porsche 911 SC Safari vehicles in the Kenyan Safari Rally, each modified for the grueling 5,000 km competition with added ground clearance, robust underbody protection, and a reinforced body. Despite rear axle damage, Porsche was the only team to finish the rally with both vehicles, taking second and third place.

No. 1: 911 GT3 (996)

The Porsche 911 GT3 (996) takes the top spot in our ranking. With its bold zebra design and iconic sound, this rally car is a standout in the German rally scene. Driven by married couple Ruben and Petra Zeltner, it has earned its place in rally history.

Porsche double-e path: e-mobility and eFuels

“Porsche is committed to a double-e path: e-mobility and eFuels as a complementary technology. Using eFuels reduces CO2 emissions. eFuels pilot plant in Chile officially opened

Porsche and international partners working with the Chilean operating company Highly Innovative Fuels (HIF) have started the industrial production of synthetic fuels.

In the presence of Chilean Energy Minister Diego Pardow, the ‘Haru Oni’ pilot plant in Punta Arenas (Chile) was officially opened in December 2022. Porsche Executive Board members Barbara Frenkel and Michael Steiner performed the ceremonial fuelling of a Porsche 911 with the first synthetic fuel produced at the site. eFuels made from water and carbon dioxide using wind energy enable the nearly CO2-neutral operation of petrol engines.

“Porsche is committed to a double-e path: e-mobility and eFuels as a complementary technology. Using eFuels reduces CO2 emissions. Looking at the entire traffic sector, the industrial production of synthetic fuels should keep being pushed forward worldwide. With the eFuels pilot plant, Porsche is playing a leading role in this development,” says Barbara Frenkel, Member of the Executive Board for Procurement at Porsche AG.

“The potential of eFuels is huge. There are currently more than 1.3 billion vehicles with combustion engines worldwide. Many of these will be on the roads for decades to come, and eFuels offer the owners of existing cars a nearly carbon-neutral alternative. As the manufacturer of high-performance, efficient engines, Porsche has a wide range of know-how in the field of fuels,” adds Michael Steiner, Member of the Executive Board for Development and Research at Porsche AG.

Porsche is working towards a CO2-neutral balance sheet across the entire value chain by 2030. This also includes a CO2-neutral usage phase for future all-electric models. Synthetic fuels supplement electromobility and are part of the sports car manufacturer’s sustainability strategy.

Porsche has already invested over 100 million USD in the development and production of eFuels. For example, the sports car manufacturer invested 75 million USD in HIF Global LLC in April 2022. This company plans, builds and operates eFuel plants in Chile, USA and Australia.

HIF Asia Pacific, a wholly owned subsidiary of HIF Global, is underway with its plans to create a carbon-neutral eFuel production facility located approximately 30 km south of Burnie, in Tasmania.

The HIF Tasmania facility will make a significant contribution to Porsche’s climate protection plans. It is expected to produce up to 100 million litres per year of carbon neutral eFuels, reducing global CO₂ emissions by approximately 260,000 tons per year, the equivalent of decarbonising 52,000 cars on the road today.

Destination Porsche concept

Porsche Centres are becoming a modern gathering place

Inviting and experiential: Porsche is introducing a new corporate architecture for its Porsche Centres around the world.

FORWARD
18 PORSCHEWILLOUGHBY.COM.AU

With the motto "Destination Porsche," these new locations are set to become central meeting points for the Porsche community, catering to both existing and new customers. The new architecture is distinguished by its flexible design, integration of digital media for personalised communication, and emphasis on delivering a premium brand experience.

The first prototype of the "Destination Porsche" concept has recently been inaugurated in Palm Springs, California, marking the beginning of a new era for Porsche centres. The building was constructed within a year and serves as an exemplar for the forthcoming changes within the framework of "Destination Porsche". The full concept was experienced at two other Porsche centres in mid-2020, one in Dortmund, Germany, and the other in Hangzhou, China.

According to Detlev von Platen, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, "Destination Porsche" represents an important answer to future customer requirements and the change in automobile sales. Von Platen states that "Porsche stands for dreams and a strong community of our friends and fans. We design our Porsche Centres as a meeting place for them to experience the brand."

19 PORSCHEWILLOUGHBY.COM.AU

The concept for "Destination Porsche" is inspired by changing customer needs, where a broader product portfolio means that target groups must be addressed more specifically, and the desire for customisation requires greater flexibility. The Porsche centres of tomorrow, therefore, consist of several worlds of content that can be flexibly designed, and where digital media addresses customers individually. In this way, they become places where the brand can be experienced and touched.

The design of future Porsche centres utilises the structure of current buildings while supplementing them with further developed and new elements. The furnishing style remains timeless, so that attention is drawn to the vehicles on display. The typical basic form of today's Porsche centres has also been retained. The renewed outer facade, made of aluminium, opens up in some areas, allowing a view of the building. This creates an inviting impression from afar, supported by the raised glass facade on the ground floor. The aluminium panels above the main entrance and red LED strips emphasise the dynamism of the concept.

The "customer journey" follows thematic modules that can be flexibly installed and modified by the Porsche centres. This means that the interior can easily be adapted to regional or individual characteristics. In terms of

content, the modules relate to current product highlights, electromobility, and used vehicles. Another focal point is the common areas with a newly designed lounge, where customers and fans of the brand can meet and exchange ideas. They also have a view of the workshop through a large glass window, analogous to the "look inside the kitchen" of a restaurant.

Another important pillar of the new corporate architecture is the targeted use of digital media. This includes virtual reality applications, with which your own vehicle configuration is displayed virtually. The products and services of the Porsche brand can be experienced interactively via touchscreens.

The implementation of the "Destination Porsche" concept begins in the first step with the Porsche centres, which represent the core format of sales. In the future, the other contact points on site will also be geared more closely to customer needs, and the opportunities for communication will be expanded. This includes pop-up stores, Porsche Studios in urban environments, and new digital contact points and formats with which the Porsche brand can be experienced in several ways. Overall, "Destination Porsche" represents a bold and exciting vision for the future of Porsche centres, and the Porsche brand as a whole.

FORWARD
The fascination of Porsche will in the future be given more space at Porsche Centre Willoughby. Plans are in place to create a meeting point for customers and fans of the legendary car brand here under the name "Destination Porsche".

Reliving the High-Octane Experience: Reflecting on the Unforgettable Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Launch Event at 70 North, The Ultimate Enthusiast's Playground, Where Clients Pushed the Limits Full Throttle with Porsche Centre Willoughby

Porsche Centre Willoughby recently hosted a special preview event for the launch of the new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS. Invited guests were able to experience this exciting new car in its natural habitat on a private, challenging 5 km tarmac circuit surrounded by pristine bushland.

Professional driving instructor Mark Williamson, who has had a lengthy career in racing, drove each guest around the circuit, showcasing the full extent of their purchase in a dynamic and thrilling experience. The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the new flagship model in the Australian 718 family and is designed to impress with its lightweight construction, agile chassis setup, aerodynamics, and unique soundtrack.

The mid-mounted 4.0-litre flat-six engine in the 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the most powerful in the history of this Porsche model series, delivering a maximum power level of 368 kW / 500 PS * and peak torque of 450 Nm. The ball joints in the chassis result in precise and direct handling, and the spring rates and damper tuning are specific to the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. The chassis can also be adjusted for track driving, with the ability to change tracking, camber, and anti-roll bars to suit the driver's preferences and circuit characteristics.

26 PORSCHEWILLOUGHBY.COM.AU

The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is a track-focused sports car that boasts exceptional performance and aerodynamics. The exterior design is characterised by a large, fixed rear wing made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) that generates plenty of downforce thanks to the swan-neck connection. The rear wing can be adjusted manually for use on the track, and the diffuser on the lower rear section helps increase the "Venturi effect," resulting in additional downforce. The front lid is made of lightweight CFRP and features two NACA air intakes that improve brake cooling. The front diffuser is infinitely adjustable to minimise drag and increase downforce.

On the sides of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, air intakes replace the rear side windows and improve the dynamic pressure of the airstream, supplying the engine with additional air. The doors feature the "GT4 RS" logo in satin black, further emphasising the motorsport character of the vehicle.

In short, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is a precision instrument designed to handle the toughest conditions on the race track. From its aerodynamic bodywork to its powerful engine, every aspect of this sports car has been optimised for performance, making it a true track tool.

In conclusion, Porsche Centre Willoughby's private Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS preview event was the ultimate enthusiast's experience, providing a safe and private driving playground for its guests. The new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is an uncompromising driver's car that promises to thrill and impress.

Porsche is expanding its offerings with two new models, the 911 Carrera T and the Macan T. Both vehicles are designed to deliver a purist driving experience, with sporty equipment and exceptional performance capabilities.

The 911 Carrera T is a lightweight sports car that slots in between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S. It is powered by a biturbo engine with 385 PS * and 450 Newton metres of torque. The standard model features a seven-speed manual gearbox, but an eight-speed PDK is also available. The PASM sports suspension, which lowers the car by 10 mm, and reduced insulation make the 911 Carrera T an embodiment of purism and thrilling driving. The six-cylinder boxer engine produces a more pronounced sound in the interior, adding to the overall driving experience.

The standard 911 Carrera T is equipped with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanical rear differential lock, and it also comes with the Sport Chrono Package. The car weighs just 1,470 kg, making it the lightest series 911 with the entry-level engine. The 911 Carrera T stands out with its Dark Grey accentuated exterior details and the exclusive four-way Sports seats Plus in the interior. The car is available in eight colours, and buyers can also choose from over 110 colours through the Paint to Sample programme.

Standing out where others disappear into the masses: the new Macan T. Young, dynamic and urban, with extensive standard equipment, model-specific design features - and, of course, typical Porsche performance.

The Macan T is the first four-door sports car from Porsche that will feature the letter “T”, which stands for touring. The two-litre, four-cylinder turbo engine of the Macan T combines great agility, low weight and a compact design to create a package that offers an ideal balance of weight and performance.

Compared to the 2.9-litre biturbo V6 engine in the Macan S and GTS models, the powertrain in the Macan T weighs 58.8 kg less on the front axle. This gives the vehicle an excellent start-off performance and optimum cornering ability.

The Macan T has an output of 195 kW / 265 PS* and 400 Nm of torque – characteristics that suit the precise vehicle design and deliver an exhilarating drive. As is generally the case with the compact SUV, the engine is coupled with a fast-switching seven-speed dual clutch transmission (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive system. A broad spread of torque provides responsive acceleration in all driving situations. The Macan T accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 232 km/h with the

standard Sport Chrono Package including the mode switch and Sport Response button on the steering wheel. The Macan T also features the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, which provides a sporty driving experience and improved handling.

The Macan T comes with a range of standard equipment, including a sporty exterior with a black front grille, 20-inch wheels, and an exhaust system with black tailpipes. The interior features eight-way sport seats, a sport steering wheel, and Porsche's Connect Plus infotainment system. The Macan T is available in six colours, and buyers can also opt for the Paint to Sample programme.

In conclusion, the Porsche 911 Carrera T and Macan T are two new models from Porsche that offer a purist driving experience and exceptional performance capabilities. Whether you're looking for a lightweight sports car or a four-door sports car, these new models from Porsche are sure to deliver.

What has been your experience working with the PCW team?

From the first day I joined PCW, I saw a lot of smiling faces. Until now, I have received all kinds of help from everyone every day. It’s a good experience working with a team that involves a positive, productive, and supportive atmosphere that leads to success and satisfaction for everyone involved.

Do you have a favourite model?

Porsche has so many classic models, it’s hard to choose one. I’d love to have all of them, but if I can only choose one, it has to be a 911 Turbo S in Irish Green. This car offers a unique and unforgettable driving experience, and it’s no surprise that it continues to be a favourite among car enthusiasts and sports car fans.

Describe your perfect day at Porsche Centre Willoughby?

Every day at PCW is actually pretty perfect. But if I can meet one or two new customers and sell one or two cars on this day, it will be even more perfect! Or, if one day I can be invited to participate in Porsche's track day, it should be perfect!

PROFILE 34 PORSCHEWILLOUGHBY.COM.AU

How do you relax and unwind from a busy day?

I usually choose to stay alone in the office for a while, listen to some soft classical music, and do some simple paperwork to calm my mind. If conditions do not allow me to stay in the office, I will think about some very profound or difficult problems on the drive home, and completely divert my attention to areas that are not related to work.

How long have you been with PCW?

Time flies, I've been with PCW for two and a half years, but it feels like my first day at PCW was yesterday. Until now, my colleagues are still helping me patiently, and I learn new knowledge from them every day.

How have you found PCW compared to the likes of the other luxury car brands you’ve worked for?

Our GM Sean has created a very comfortable, welcoming and positive working atmosphere at PCW. Everyone here greets each other with a smile and helps each other. Problems can be raised without hesitation and resolved together. At the same time, it does not stick to a strict or boring workflow, but allows everything to happen naturally in a relaxed atmosphere. We always respond positively to customers' demands the first time

"What moved me was having dinner with colleagues during Christmas. Due to the nature of our work, it's rare for us to participate in activities together, making the conversation about the exciting events of the past year during the Christmas dinner all the more impactful."

within a reasonable time frame that can be achieved. Through such an atmosphere and way to reflect high-quality service. I think this is what differentiates PCW from other dealerships.

Tell us about your life outside of PCW.

I have a 12-year-old son, a 10-year-old daughter, and a loving wife, so I spend most of my free time with them. They keep me busy at all times, especially on the weekends when they are always full of activities. My parents are also in Sydney, they don't live with me, but I always find a way to arrange time to spend with them. We all love to travel. We have been to the cities and scenic spots in the east of Australia, and we have basically visited the countries around Australia. Besides spending time with my family, my biggest personal passion is football, and I try to play one game every week, sometimes two, for 14 years.

OPTIONS

The build of the Porsche Macan GTS was a meticulous process, carefully customised to PCW's preferences by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The first step was selecting the exterior colour, and we opted for a special paint-to-sample option in colour code 89 called Purpurit metallic.

Porsche Guaranteed Future Value.

Anticipate the next turn.

You have great plans for the future and we don’t want anything to stand in your way. In our experience, the better you plan your goals the easier they are to achieve. Our solution? Porsche Guaranteed Future Value (GFV)^. Porsche GFV^ is a tailored finance program that allows you to guarantee the minimum future value^ of your Porsche Cayenne or Macan at the time of purchase, giving you peace of mind knowing the value of your vehicle is secured.

How it works

1. Select your Porsche Cayenne or Macan model.

Whether you are selecting your Porsche for business or personal use, you can choose the contract term that best suits your requirements. The interest rate is fixed for the life of your loan and there are no account keeping fees. At the end of your Porsche GFV^ contract, you will enjoy the choice of three options: trade-in, retain or return.

2. Select your preferred term from either 36 or 48 months, an annual kilometre allowance and repayment options that suit your lifestyle.

3. At the end of your chosen term, select from one of the three below end of term options:

Trade-in:

If you wish to trade-in your Porsche for a new vehicle, all you need to do is return it to your Official Porsche Centre. If the trade-in value is higher than the GFV^, you can use this equity towards your new Porsche.

Retain:

If you prefer to retain your Porsche, simply let us know. Provided that you also meet the relevant payment obligations under your contract, you can purchase your vehicle outright for the GFV amount locked in at the start of the contract^. Then your vehicle is yours to keep. Or you can choose to refinance your balloon at the end of the term.

Maintaining your Porsche

Your Porsche is an investment in quality, so naturally you’ll want to maintain it accordingly. If you wish to return your Porsche at the end of your finance agreement, it must meet the criteria set out within the Fair Wear and Tear Guide. Your vehicle must also not exceed the pre-nominated kilometre limit (set by you, based on your anticipated usage at the beginning of your contract). For more information, the Fair Wear and Tear Guide can be downloaded by scanning the QR code below. It can also be found on porsche.com.au/PorscheGFV.

^Porsche Guaranteed Future Value has a Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) which is the minimum value of your vehicle at the end of your finance contract as determined by Porsche Financial Services (PFS) ABN 20 097 071 460, Australian Credit Licence 389 344. If you decide to return your car to PFS at the end of your term, PFS will pay you the agreed GFV, which will be put against your final payment subject to fair wear and tear conditions and agreed kilometres being met. At the end of your term, you can elect to (1) trade-in; (2) return; or (3) retain the vehicle by paying the GFV owed to PFS at the end of the loan term after all repayments have been made. You will be liable for any loan contract deficit and additional charges apply if you exceed the nominated kilometre allowance and/or the vehicle is not in an acceptable condition. Available on new and demonstrator Porsche Cayenne and Macan models. Fleet government, rental buyers, hire car and chauffeur companies excluded. Sales consultant and partner at Stone Real Estate

Candice Cattell is a sales consultant and partner at Stone, a leading real estate agency with a strong reputation for excellence on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. With over 24 years experience in the real estate industry, Candice is a respected and trusted advisor to her clients, offering an exceptional level of service and expertise.

Specialising in the Manly beachfront area, Candice has an intimate knowledge of the local property market and an outstanding track record for producing exceptional results for her clients. Her meticulous attention to detail, drive and determination, combined with her finely tuned negotiation skills, have led to an impressive auction clearance rate and a consistently expanding market share.

Apart from her professional accomplishments, Candice is also a car enthusiast who enjoys driving luxury vehicles. In this interview, she shares her experience owning a 2020 Porsche Cayenne GTS and how it matches her lifestyle.

When asked about her previous cars, Candice recalls owning a Seal Grey 911 Carrera convertible which she bought when she was 25. She loved that car but had to sell it when pregnant with her son as it wasn't going to be practical with a car seat. She also owned a Ferrari California before buying the Porsche Cayenne GTS.

Candice's interest in the Porsche Cayenne GTS was sparked by a friend who suggested that she should look at the model. Initially, she was in the market for a G wagon Mercedes, but when she saw the Cayenne GTS in the showroom, she asked if she could take it for a test drive. Despite the pause in car

47 PORSCHEWILLOUGHBY.COM.AU

manufacturing due to COVID-19, Candice ordered the same car and had to wait five months before receiving it.

Candice explains that the Cayenne GTS fits her lifestyle perfectly, as she has dogs, horses, and other animals, a son, a busy real estate business and partner in Simon. She does a lot of driving and appreciates the different driving modes on the GTS, which makes it a dream to drive, especially on long journeys.

The Porsche Cayenne GTS is equipped with a 4.0-litre twinturbo V8 engine that produces 338 PS * of power and 620 Nm of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The GTS also has a unique sound thanks to its sports exhaust system, which enhances the driving experience.

Candice says that she loves the luxury feel of the car and how easy it is to drive. She has been to the snow a few times with the car to Thredbo and Perisher as she and her son love to ski.

The Cayenne GTS drives like a dream on long trips, and Candice says that the V8 engine's sound gets right under her skin, and she can't help but smile.

When asked if there was another Porsche model that she had her eye on, Candice said that she would love to have a two

The sportiest Cayenne.

The GTS models are positioned between the S and Turbo models in the Cayenne series and are designed for especially sporty driving performance.

Porsche garage in the future. She would keep her Cayenne GTS and potentially look at a 911 in the dark grey, almost black colours that she likes. Candice also loves the leather and Alcantara combination on her Cayenne and would consider getting a new Porsche in the same interior specification.

Candice concludes by saying that the sales assistant Alan at Porsche Willoughby was great to deal with, and she had a great experience picking up her car from the luxury Dealership on Sydney’s North Shore. She also had the opportunity to attend the 70 North experience with Willoughby, a special private circuit that allows drivers to test their skills on a complex combination of corners. Candice had a great time driving the car on the track and even got to test drive one of the 911s that Willoughby had brought. She appreciated the passion and dedication of everyone involved in the event, from the technicians to the property owners.

Candice's passion for cars is evident in her words, and she clearly loves driving her Cayenne GTS. Her attention to detail, drive, and determination in her career as a real estate agent translate to her love of luxury vehicles, where she looks for the best and most reliable options. Her expertise in the local real estate market and her passion for cars make her a unique and exciting individual.

"My Porsche Cayenne really is the dream car for my diverse lifestyle. It’s a joy to drive, giving me the reassurance of safety and reliability, the delight of comfort and style and the excitement of unparalleled performance. My Porsche transitions seamlessly whether driving my clients in style and comfort or loading up my farm gear - from smooth city roads to rough country tracks, I really am being driven by dreams."

DRIFT INTO THE GREAT WHITE OPEN

Porsche Ice Experience

The experience starts from the moment you arrive at Kittilä Airport in Finland, a small airport with Porsche event branding throughout, comforting participants that we are in the right place. A Porsche staff member is available to check everyone in and bags are tagged and loaded onto the Porsche coach waiting outside. We are transported to the Hotel Levi Panorama at the foot of the Levi ski fields, our home away from home during the experience.

For the winter sports enthusiasts, let me tell you about the resort. Nestled in the picturesque Finnish Lapland, Levi Ski Resort offers a unique winter wonderland experience. With 43 slopes, 27 ski lifts, and the longest slope stretching 2.4km, it caters to skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The snow-sure conditions and

breathtaking scenery make it a must-visit destination for winter sports enthusiasts. Beyond skiing, visitors can enjoy reindeer sleigh rides, husky safaris, and snowmobiling. The charming village of Levi also offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and accommodation options, making it the perfect base to explore the magical winter wonderland of Lapland on your non-driving days.

The hotel itself is branded with Porsche and boasted a spectacular Porsche 911 Dakar in the foyer, as well as a Porsche lifestyle store where you can purchase jackets and other gear for the experience if you are not from a cold climate. As a Porsche guest, you receive tickets to the gondola every day, which allows you to explore the picturesque Levi ski village at your leisure.

At the welcome dinner on the first night, we were seated in our groups of ten, giving us the opportunity to acquaint ourselves with those who we would be sharing the experience. We were briefed on the event program and introduced to the instructors tasked with guiding us through the following three days.

On the morning of day one, we made our way to the conference area to meet our instructors in person and attend a motorsport briefing.

59 PORSCHEWILLOUGHBY.COM.AU

DRIFT INTO THE GREAT WHITE OPEN

We were then taken to the driving area, which is the base for the day, complete with a restaurant for lunch. The garages are a special experience where we became familiar with our cars, for us we started with the mighty 911 Turbo S, and then swapped to a Taycan Turbo S for the afternoon.

The instructors guide participants through a series of handling courses, starting with an inner circle and an outer circle to learn drifting techniques. Throughout the day, we move onto other various circuits, where the groups discover new skills such as rally flicks and linked drift slalom courses, all while getting the hang of the ice and snow. The satisfaction of mastering a challenging section is addictive, and many participants leave the experience elated and wanting more.

On demanding sections, the bar is gradually raised further, allowing participants to put what we have learned into practice. The event itself is a testament to German precision, with everything running like clockwork. The cars are driven all day by various people, driven hard, and then returned to the garage, where we find them in perfect condition again the next day.

The Porsche Ice Experience in Levi, Northern Finland, promises an adventure-packed trip where evenings are just as thrilling as the days. Imagine dining in cozy huts situated along the ice tracks of pure driving bliss. The experience also offers the opportunity to snowmobile to a nearby restaurant, indulging in a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay with you forever. Beyond the adrenalinepumping activities, the picturesque landscape with the Northern Lights in the background is a sight to behold. In summary, the Porsche Ice Experience in Levi, Northern Finland, combines the thrill of driving on ice with the beauty of winter, creating an unforgettable experience that will exceed all expectations.
