WSUK winners announced
The WorldSkills and Engineers of Tomorrow National Finals took place recently and they didn’t disappoint. David Scott, Managing Director of Skills for Security reveals the winners and outlines the campaign

he competition was attended by industry leaders and influencers from across all four nations with a watchful eye on the future talent of our sector. After a gruelling two-day competition where students had to design, install, commission, fault find and maintain systems, the winners were announced as: Engineers of Tomorrow Fire Alarm Winners: 1st Adam Smylie – Beacon delivered by South Eastern Regional College 2nd Jessica Goodson – JCI delivered by Banham Academy 3rd Tony Steer – JCI delivered by Banham Academy Highly Commended James McIntyre – EFT Group delivered by Skills for Security WorldSkills UK and Engineers of Tomorrow Security Systems Winners: 1st Owen Nelson – EFT Group delivered by Skills for Security 2nd Gianluca Mori – Banham Group delivered by Banham Academy 3rd Richard Collingwood – JCI delivered by Banham Academy Highly Commended Thomas Docherty – JCI delivered by Banham Academy Highly Commended Peter Smylie - Beacon delivered by South Eastern Regional College Congratulations to this years winners!
