5 tax tips to get what you deserve in 2023

(NC) Tax returns can feel overwhelming. H&R Block, has some tips to keep in mind for tax filing, whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned filer.

Stay organized. Before you sit down to file or seek help from a local tax expert, gather any forms, slips and receipts you may need. Organize these monthly, including scanning and saving receipts to your computer, so you’re not scrambling in tax season.

Keep track of key deadlines. Make note of key dates on your calendar to ensure you don’t miss any deadlines. Some important dates to note for everyone:

March 1 is the last day to make any RRSP contributions.

The last day to file your taxes this year is May 1.

Research applicable tax credits. The Canada Workers Benefit is still in play this year, which could be helpful to many Canadians. Additionally, most

provinces have their own benefits, such as the Climate Action Incentive Payment. It was made available to most provinces this year and can result in up to $1,000 in quarterly payments for some families.

Make use of free tax calculators. With reputable ones available online, these are a great way to help you determine if you will owe on taxes or get a refund.

Ask for help. Free tax calculators are great, but nothing beats a real-life tax expert who is trained to always help maximize your return.

B.C. trains more paramedics for emergency health care

British Columbians will have improved access to emergency health services as the Province invests approximately $2 million into expanding paramedic training programs in communities around the province.

“Paramedics are the backbone of our emergency health services and our government is acting to strengthen our health system,” said Selina Robinson, Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. “Our government’s investment will create opportunities for people to begin careers in emergency

health care, leading to faster response times for British Columbians when they need it.”

Government is providing approximately $2 million in funding to the Justice Institute of B.C. (JIBC) to expand its paramedic programming. The funding will help the primary care paramedic certificate program to be delivered to more than 100 students in Chilliwack, Kelowna, New Westminster, Trail and Victoria; and emergency medical responder training to approximately 30 participants in Cranbrook, Port Alberni

and Prince George. The emergency medical responder training is a prerequisite for the primary care paramedic certificate program.

“When people need emergency care, paramedics are often the first on scene, providing quality care and support for people and their families,” said Adrian Dix, Minister of Health. “That’s why our government is continuing to invest in training opportunities for paramedics, alongside other in-demand careers in health care, so that people have timely access to the care they need, when they need it. This is another action we are taking as part of B.C.’s Health Human Resources Strategy to build a better health-care system for B.C. for generations to come.”

The funding comes from the Community Workforce Response Grant, which provides funding for communities and sectors to support in-demand skills training leading to secure and sustainable employment for British Columbians.

The expanded paramedic training locations are where JIBC offers training. The funding may be used to pay for transportation and housing for participants travelling from outside of those communities.

Since April 2021, the Community Workforce Response Grant has provided more than $20 million in funding to communities and service providers to train more than 1,665 people in health care-related positions. Examples include training to become primary-care paramedics, medical-laboratory assistants, health-care assistants, personalsupport workers, medical-unit clerks and mental-health workers.

Creating opportunities for people to join the health-care workforce in B.C. is part of government’s Health Human Resources Strategy, which was announced on Sept. 29, 2022. The strategy supports patients by ensuring they get the health services they need and are cared for by a healthy workforce. It focuses on 70 key actions to recruit, train and retain health-care workers, while redesigning the health-care system to foster workplace satisfaction and innovation.

Investing in training for emergency health-care workers is part of StrongerBC’s Future Ready plan to make education and training more accessible, affordable and relevant to help businesses grow and prepare British Columbians for the jobs of tomorrow.

Lieutenant governor Janet Austin has delivered a forward-looking speech from the throne, laying out actions the provincial government will take to tackle today’s biggest challenges and build a stronger, more secure future for everyone who calls B.C. home.

“Despite everything we’ve gone through over the past few years, British Columbians remain relentlessly optimistic about their province – and with good reason,” said Premier David Eby. “After all, it is the people of B.C. who got shots into arms, rebuilt highways after flooding, kept kids learning in schools and businesses thriving in difficult circumstances. Our government will build a stronger, more secure future with British Columbians, because there’s nothing we can’t accomplish or overcome when we work together.”

The speech focused on the issues that matter most to people with measures to help with rising costs, build more affordable homes, improve access to health care and mental-health care, and fight climate change, while training people for good-paying jobs in a cleaner economy.

While British Columbians have built the strongest recovery in the country, leading economists are predicting a global slowdown. The speech emphasized the important choices ahead to ensure security for people and families in the face of the likely economic storm.

“Some say we should respond to a downturn by pulling back, reducing services, or by making people pay out of pocket for private health care,” Premier Eby said. “But that would only make many of our most serious challenges worse and pass down costs at a time when people can least afford it. There’s too much at stake right now to pull the rug out from under British Columbians. We couldn’t af-

ford short-term thinking before – and we certainly can’t afford it now.”

Instead, the throne speech outlined the provincial government’s plan to carefully put last year’s significant surplus back to work for people and make investments that will pay off for generations to come. It also highlighted new laws that will be introduced to protect people who work hard and play by the rules: from speculators, organized crime and those who take advantage of the most vulnerable.

Highlights from the speech from the throne include:

helping people with rising costs by introducing new measures targeted to support people hardest hit, including those with lower incomes and families with children;

tackling the housing crisis by continuing to get tough on speculators, while launching a refreshed housing plan and increasing homes and services near transit hubs throughout the province;

strengthening access to public health care after the pandemic by investing in new hospitals, a new medical school, better cancer care, substance treatment and recovery services, and getting internationally trained health professionals into B.C. clinics to provide care;

making communities safer with actions to get violent offenders off the streets and new laws to crack down on gangs, money laundering and the non-consensual sharing of intimate images; and

fighting climate change and building an economy for everyone by launching a new job skills plan, expanding low-cost clean-energy solutions, introducing a new pay-transparency law that moves B.C. closer to equal pay for equal work for women, and working in partnership with Indigenous Peoples.

New payment model for physicians means better care for patients

A new family physician payment model has come into effect to help more family physicians start or continue their practice and ensure people throughout the province have access to primary care.

Patients will benefit from family physicians having greater flexibility in their practices, both in-person and virtually, compared to the previous payment model. Patients will also have the option of discussing multiple issues with their physicians, who will now have more time for patient care as administrative pressures are relieved by the new model.

Referred to as the longitudinal family physician (LFP) payment model, this new approach came into effect on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, through close collaboration between the Ministry of Health, Doctors of BC and BC Family Doctors. The payment model incorporates feedback from family physicians, supports the Province’s primary care strategy, meets the needs of physicians and ensures patients have access to the care they need.

The new payment model includes three elements:

the number of patients a physician sees in a day;

the size and complexity of the physician’s patient panel; and

the time a physician spends providing direct clinical care, indirect clinical care (such as reviewing lab results or co-ordinating specialist referrals); and on clinical administrative tasks (such as maintaining an accurate and up-to-date list of patients on an electronic medical record).

This means family physicians will be compensated for spending extra time with patients, especially those

with complex needs, such as patients with mental-health conditions, and seniors.

The Ministry of Health continues to develop measures to support and improve access to primary care, including improved recruitment, retention and training initiatives. This includes a digital rostering system to determine where capacity exist throughout the province to attach patients to clinics and providers. The ministry aims to have this system in

place by July 2023.

The payment model will significantly streamline and simplify the administrative burden placed on family physicians thus ensuring physicians can spend more time with their patients, managing and co-ordinating their care.

It is important to compensate physicians for their time; it is also important to support physicians so they can use their time effectively. Therefore, through the new physician master agreement, the Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC are establishing a working group to reduce administrative burden on family physicians.

The LFP payment model is part of B.C.’s Health Human Resources Strategy. This strategy, announced on Sept. 29, 2022, ensures people get the health services they need and are cared for by a healthy workforce. The strategy focuses on 70 actions to recruit, train and retain healthcare workers, while redesigning the health-care system to foster workplace satisfaction and innovation.

Over $122,000 in funding available for projects that support agricultural innovation in Abbotsford.

The Abbotsford Community Foundation (ACF) is pleased to announce that applications for the 2023 Agricultural Enhancement Grants Program are now open to any organization, individual or group whose project fits the grant criteria and is acceptable as an applicant to the ACF Agricultural Grants Committee.

These are matching grants provided through an endowment established by the City of Abbotsford to ensure the long-term sustainability of the local agricultural sector, in all its forms.

In 2023, the granting criteria will focus on projects that support agricultural innovation that directly benefits Abbotsford, specifically as it relates to:

• product development

• value added agriculture innovation

• solutions for product-to-market supply chains

• entrepreneurial farm practices to enhance market growth

• diversification of farming operations and/or regulatory compliances

• Agri Tourism education/farm to table initiatives

• climate change adaptation or mitigation

“Individual matching grants are available for up to $50,000 in project funding”, says Marcus Janzen, Board Chair and Chair of the ACF Agricultural Enhancement Grants Committee. “We’re looking for projects that will have positive economic, social and/or environmental outcomes as a

direct result of receiving this funding. With the catastrophic climate events we’ve experienced locally, projects that factor in climate adaptation or mitigation are of particular interest.”

“We are pleased to have distributed more than $1,000,000 in grants to benefit agriculture in Abbotsford since 2013,” said, Areni Kelleppan, ACF Executive Director. “ACF is proud to be able to partner with the City of Abbotsford to support this valuable economic sector and to continue to invest in local initiatives that will benefit our community now and for generations to come.”

Applicants may visit the grants section of the Abbotsford Community Foundation website at www.abbotsfordcf.org to review the program guidelines, which involves a 2-step granting process. The first step requires the submission of a Letter of Intent which is accepted until April 6th. Letters of Intent are reviewed once received and full grant applications are sent via email for those projects deemed eligible for grant consideration. Completed applications are due on April 21st.

For more information on the Agricultural Enhancement Grants Program, please contact Areni Kelleppan, Executive Director via email at arenik@abbotsfordcf.org or phone 604-850-3755.

2023 Range Rover P440e: Premium PHEV SUV – Best of British!

The Range Rover Sport is the smaller sibling to the larger Land Rovers and offers a more compact, sporty flavour to the esteemed range

For 2023, the Range Rover is revised with new updates, mainly in the form of the P440e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant. It looks suitably sleek and athletic especially sitting on cool 22-inch split-spoke wheels. (Larger 23-inch wheels are also available.). The black out grille, hood vents and other black accented trim delineates the Sport model.

Interior updates include wonderful leather seating and a high quality tailored looking cabin. There is a bigger central display, large new dials, and a touchpad. A digital rear-view mirror is also available. The P400 Series arrives with rear wheel steering and all the normal Range Rover fourwheel drive capability as expected. Strangely the third-row seat is now deleted.

The Range Rover Sport arrives with three engine variants; the P400 sixcylinder turbo entry level model ( $101,750)), the P440e plug-in hybrid model as tested that offers 88 km of range on EV power alone. If you really must! a 500-plus horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine is available only on the P530 First Edition model ($133,650) and offers a very quick 4.5-second zero-to-100-km/h sprint.

We tested the P440e PHEV ($135,450) equipped with a turbocharged 3.0L sixcylinder engine paired with a battery powered 141-horsepower/104kw electric motor and a 38.2 kWh battery for a total of 434 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is via an eightspeed automatic.

Once cool feature is that the P400e supports both level 2 and DC fast charging, making it one of the more versatile PHEVs in its class with such a feature. It takes around five hours to fully charge the SUV using a 7-kW charger.

Our tester was highly optioned with such packages as Premium Upgrade Interior Pack with Bespoke Full Extended Leather Upgrade, Illuminated Treadplates, Meridian™ 3D Surround Sound System, Bespoke 22” Diamond Turned wheels with Satin Black contrast. The Technology Pack added: digital Rear view mirror, Head-up Display, Park Assist, Natural Black Birch veneer trim, 24-way heated and cooled, massage front seats and much more. Options boosted the base price by a hefty $16,295 plus delivery at $1,950 for a total price of $153,665.

The cabin features a high-quality premium interior with elegant design elements in satin metal and chrome . There are custom details plus a new, larger 13.1-inch touchscreen. There are comfortable seats with heating and cooling functions plus good ergonomics all round. The seats and trim was finished in a very cool deep red garnet perforated leather finish, that understated and elegant. The centre console hides a massive storage area, along with a cooled compartment. The rear compartment is fairly roomy and passengers can also enjoy a rear seat entertainment system. There is dual-zone climate control for the rear-seat passengers. Rear cargo capacity is between 7841,761 litres while towing capacity is 2,500 kg (5,511 lb).

On the road, thanks to a stiffer chassis and upgraded suspension technology featuring dual-chamber dynamic air suspension and performance derived Bilstein dampers keep the ride agile and responsive. There is very little body roll and a stable planted feel. The 3.0liter engine offers plenty of power and combined with the EV components offer a good mix of fuel economy and performance. The “Save” mode for the EV mode

will maintain an electric charge until its needed.

The four-wheel drive system can be used in EV mode and the performance Sport or ‘S’ mode up’s performance a tad. Steering is well calibrated and delightfully responsive. The ride is generally good all-round and is only upset by the harshest of bumps maybe due to the larger rim and tire combination. There’s also a rear-wheelsteering system to help in tracking. The air suspension can also raise or lower the vehicle, providing 274 mm of ground clearance. Off -road trail performance is good with decent ground clearance, good articulation and entry and departure angles. A plethora of aid such as the hill descent control system, low and high gear ranges and the aforementioned suspension upgrades all add to the mix.

Downsides are few, the Sport can become very expensive when you start ticking option boxes and the absence of the previous third row seat are to be noted. Still, this does not detract from the overall attraction of this premium SUV. The Electric Driving range is respectable for its class there is good performance all -round plus lots of technology and a comfortable cabin . Highly recommended if a Range Rover is what you want. Very desirable, and very good.

2023 Range Rover Sport P440e Plug in Hybrid. Base MSRP: $135,450. Price as tested with options: $153,665. More info at www.landrover.ca

Aaron Pete to Speak at the 20th Annual Fraser Valley Cultural Diversity Awards

Tickets now available for March 9th event

Aaron Pete, a Chawathil First Nation councilor and entrepreneur will speak at the 20th annual Fraser Valley Cultural Diversity Awards on March 9th.

Pete is a graduate of Peter A. Allard School of Law and a Native Courtworker. Pete sits on the Board of Directors of the Chilliwack Cultural Centre and on the Chawathil Economic Development Committee.

As the host of the Bigger Than Me Podcast, Pete has interviewed more than 50 guests including Indigenous leaders, authors, and law professors about how they make an impact that is bigger than themselves.

His keynote speech will share how he rose from humble beginnings in Chilliwack in a food-insecure household to finding his way to law school and his band council.

Tickets are now on sale for the awards dinner, which will feature an ethnically

diverse dinner buffet, entertainment and remarks from emcee Fred Lee, Vancouver’s “Man About Town”.

Aaron Pete to Speak at the 20th Annual Fraser Valley Cultural Diversity Awards

Archway Community Services presents the event in partnership with the Mission and Chilliwack Community Services as well as the Langley New Directions English Language School.

“Back in 2003, we weren’t sure if there was enough interest to host an event recognizing diversity and inclusion in our community,” said Manpreet Grewal, Archway Director of Multicultural and Immigrant Integration Services. “But from the beginning, people bought into the concept and sponsors came on board.”

There are more than 40 nominees in six categories: inclusive environment, marketing, innovative initiative, Champion of Diversity (youth and adult), and effective human resources strategies.

Previous winners have been businesses, programs, initiatives, schools and leaders that work towards building an inclusive community, providing their clients and customers with accessible environments, and having workforces reflective of their community.

Past speakers have talked about various forms of cultural diversity, including abilities, ethnicity, gender, age, race, religion, sexual-orientation or socioeconomic background.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating the 20th anniversary and thankful for all those who have helped us this event have such longevity,” said event organizer Jade Geleynse. “A special thanks to our Speaker Sponsor, Prospera Credit Union, for supporting this year’s keynote.”

The awards in each category will be presented by award sponsors: the Abbotsford School District, Archway Interpretation & Translation Services, Business Development Bank of Canada, Envision Financial, United

Way British Columbia, University of the Fraser Valley, Vancity, and WorkSafeBC.

The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday, March 9 at the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre.

Tickets are available online at diversityawards.ca or by calling 604-3085673.

B.C. will formally recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will be enshrined in B.C. law to honour the strength and resilience of residential school survivors and remember the children who never came home.

This new provincial statutory day of commemoration responds to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action No. 80, which called on the federal government to establish a holiday to honour survivors, their families and communities. If passed, British Columbia will join Canada, Prince Edward Island, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and the Yukon as jurisdictions that have designated Sept. 30 as a statutory holiday.

“One day there will be no survivors left in Canada. What is forgotten is often repeated,” said Phyllis Webstad, Orange Shirt Day Society. “With the federal government passing legislation to make Orange Shirt Day, September 30th, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and now

the B.C. provincial government announcing this legislation today, it will help to ensure that what happened to us will never happen again and will never be forgotten.”

If passed, more British Columbians will be able to get involved in advancing reconciliation by participating in local commemoration or education events, having important conversations with their families, their friends and their communities, and finding meaningful ways to learn more about shared history.

“Many British Columbians have been marking Orange Shirt Day with humility, respect and reflection in their own ways for years,” said Premier David Eby. “Today, we are taking the important step to enshrine this day in law to acknowledge the wrongdoings of the past, and to take meaningful action toward reconciliation.”

Harry Bains, Minister of Labour, said: “This is an important step in our commitment to lasting reconcili-

ation with Indigenous Peoples in B.C. Having a provincial statutory holiday means more workers across the province will now be able to observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, joining those in the public sector and in federally regulated jobs who already had this opportunity.”

The Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation sought feedback from Indigenous Peoples on how best to observe this day in B.C. The Ministry of Labour also consulted with employers and workers.

“For decades, Indigenous leaders have called upon governments to publicly recognize the harms caused by residential schools, Indian Day Schools and Indian hospitals, as well as the Sixties Scoop,” said Murray Rankin, Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. “This day is about taking time to reflect on the experience of residential school survivors and their families, while learning about and honouring the strength, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous communities in our province.”

Large-scale emergency exercise simulates Lower Mainland earthquake

The Province and Public Safety Canada are kicking off a large-scale emergency preparedness training exercise in British Columbia with a simulated alert sent to Exercise Coastal Response 2023 participants.

At 6:18 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, the Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (EMCR) sent a simulated earthquake report to emergency operations centres that are participating in a Feb. 7-9 exercise responding to a simulated 6.8-magnitude earthquake that would affect the Lower Mainland.

“Many areas of British Columbia are at risk of earthquakes and it’s important that we are ready for what might come. Over the next several days, we will be conducting a largescale multi-jurisdictional exercise to test and strengthen our emergency plans so we can help keep people and communities safe in the event of an actual earthquake,” said Bowinn Ma, Minister of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness. “While the Province, the federal government and our emergency management partners work together to ensure we are always prepared to respond, individuals and families are also reminded to ensure they have emergency kits ready in their homes.”

The exercise includes nearly 200 participating organizations and begins four days into a simulated earthquake event off the coast of Richmond and Tsawwassen, involving a large population and complex infrastructure, including major bridges, ports, airports, railways and highways.

The goal of the exercise is to test overall preparedness, with a focus on co-ordination and inter-agency communication, for large-scale earthquakes and other emergencies. The exercise will also test the Province’s Provincial Earthquake Immediate Response Strategy, which was updated in fall 2022.

“Emergency management is a shared responsibility in Canada, and when natural disasters strike, it is imperative that co-ordination between all orders of government and emergency management partners be seamless,” said Bill Blair, president of the King’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister of Emergency Preparedness. “Exercises like Coastal Response 2023 provide us with the information and experience we need to continuously improve how we co-ordinate our response to emergency events. Through the partnerships that are built and strengthened by these exercises, Canadians can be confident that we will be ready when disasters occur.”

In B.C., the exercise will be coordinated between three EMCR emergency operations centres: the Provincial Emergency Coordination Centre, the Southwest Region Provincial Regional Emergency Operations Centre (PREOC) and Central Region PREOC. Public Safety Canada will co-ordinate the simulated federal government response through emergency operations centres and staff participating from Ottawa and regionally. An estimated 50 operations centres will be activated throughout the Province, including First Nations, local government, ministries, industry partners and non-government organizations.

Exercise Coastal Response 2016 was British Columbia’s first, full-scale earthquake and tsunami response exercise, based on a magnitude 9.0 earthquake from a rupture of the Cascadia Subduction Zone, approximately 150 kilometres off the coast of southwestern B.C. The exercise was held in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. Its outcomes lay the groundwork for the current exercise, reinforcing the importance of strong communications among all orders of government, Indigenous communities and public and private-sector partners.

(NC) In recent years, discussions about plant-based protein and vegetarian diets have been magnified. Although these types of diets have existed for many centuries, recent studies have shown that opting for plant-based meals a few times a week can have many benefits.

1. Get added fibre

Unlike animal meats, plant-based proteins include lots of fibre, a crucial nutrient for our health.

“Various nutrients, including fibre, can have a significant role in managing our heart health, blood sugar, gut and kidney health,” notes Karen Sevong, a registered dietitian volunteer with The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

“Replacing animal-based protein with plant-based alternatives may help ease our kidneys, which help balance the acidity in our bodies by reducing the acidic load.”

But if you have kidney disease, Sevong adds that it’s important to

keep in mind phosphorus and potassium levels in plant-based ingredients.

2. Manage grocery costs

With inflation and a high cost of living, saving on groceries has become a priority for many of us. If you’re looking to cut down on your grocery bills, consider switching at least a few meals a week to plant-based ingredients. This easy switch will help keep you on budget and lower your spending.

3. Lighter environmental footprint

Crop farming often uses fewer acres compared to animal farming, and often uses less reduced water too, making it a less resource-intensive option.

A healthy diet is a diet filled with nutritious food and a variety of ingredients. Adding more plant-based meals can help you diversify your meal plan to get the nutrients you need and satisfy your hunger.

Anything you have either over committed yourself to or made too big to handle could become a bit of a problem. The main purpose of this is to get you to look at things in a realistic manner when it comes to what is possible. Finding some quiet time to yourself so that you can think things over in peace will be a big help.

You might have to come up with solutions you didn’t expect to deal with because of something coming up either within the family or connected to the home. There will be no need to abandon important priorities to accommodate this. It is likely that a situation that was expected to be developing in the future will need to be dropped.

Demanding expectations of somebody else can be highly frustrating to you, mainly because they are unprepared to listen. The main thing is not to succumb to their demands, especially if you are expected to take on obligations. Some sort of escape from this situation can take place late in the week. Just be patient and wait.

A decision somebody else makes to bring something to an end could generate some unexpected difficulty or frustration for you. Don’t be tempted to take on increased obligations. There can be a degree of secretiveness, which means you cannot see the whole picture. Stick to the pleasant things you have been planning for the future.

The Full Moon this week occurs in your own sign. It could bring some unexpected obligations your way. It might also incline you to make a commitment to a situation that you have been avoiding. You could feel as though you have a clearer picture and other people involved could be more willing to make compromises that suit you

Other people can be helpful when it comes to something out of the ordinary you have considered pursuing in the future. You might need to decide whether their view or the risks they might be willing to take suit you. You might also begin to realise that there is a lot more to this than you had originally imagined.

Make a final decision anything that you might have felt uncertain about when it comes to either the amount of work involved or the detail. It may have been an ambitious plan for the future. There could be support from an unexpected source that will enable you to fulfil something that you feel needs to be a priority in life.

Dropping an idea or backing away from an agreement that wasn’t quite clear could be a good thing. This will enable you to move into something that will give you greater pleasure and enjoyment as well as perhaps bring you into contact with some interesting people. Don’t be too generous though in taking on obligations.

Bringing an end to some sort of spending is probably the only way to be able to establish a more balanced foundation with everything you need to deal with. This could be especially home and family needs. Getting equipment you can use at home might be a way of working around what you normally spend money on.

You can finally move on and leave behind all the interferences that either held up what you would normally get done on a regular basis or just put them into chaos from early December. Take the opportunity to find a little time for some pleasure or relaxation this week. It may not be what you normally do, but make an exception.

Something can become very obvious with somebody else which could either be stimulated by you being most determined about the type of foundation you want to develop in your life or because you have already made moves in this direction. Your mind will be made up and you will definitely feel it is time to move on, whatever.

Many things can begin to fall into place that will result in a greater sense of peace and balance on a personal level. Some of this could be due to you having developed your own ideas that may not follow conventional lines. It might result in a greater amount of work or more details to deal with than you thought but as long as you are happy.
