One strike away from a win, Giovanny Gallegos gave up a game-tying, two-run homer in the ninth inning today and the Giants scored three runs in the 10th for an 8-5 win at Busch Stadium. It was the fifth loss in a row for the Cardinals and left them a season-low 15 games under .500.
