TEQBALL We are excited to announce, at the time of writing, that some of our players will be taking part in the inaugural Teqball Challenger Cup this December at OCBC Square. This competition is organized by the Teqball Association of Singapore and the winners of the tournament will be given a chance to represent Singapore in the international arena next year. The tournament is also a partnership with The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) as part of their fans engagement during the AFF Suzuki Cup (Southeast Asia’s premier football competition). Teqball is one of the fastest growing sport in the world ever since it was recognized by the Olympic Committee of Asia (OCA). It is a sport that is played on a curved table, combining the elements of football and table tennis. The players are allowed to hit a football with any part of their body, except for their arms and hands. The game can be played between two players (singles) or four players (double). A Teqball match consists of best-of-three sets and each set is played until a player or team reaches 12 points. Also, a player is not allowed to touch the ball with the same body part and to return the ball with the same body part twice consecutively. Our Football Section is extremely excited for the event and we wish all our players the best. We are confident that you will make the Section proud!

RESUMPTION OF TRAINING SESSIONS The SCC SFL Men’s and Women’s teams, along with the SCC Tigers team, have recently resumed training again after a two-month break. Our players are now allowed to train within groups of five and they have been working hard to regain their fitness levels and technical skills.
